This spacious two bedroom apartment is situated in a quiet and peaceful location on the outskirts of the lovely coastal town Armaçao de Pêra. The apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local supermarket and plenty of excellent restaurants/bars for eating out. It is also just two minutes walk to the some of the most beautiful beaches on the Algarve coast and the picturesque Chapel of Senhora da Rocha.

The apartment benefits from a large shared pool, with a small shallow pool perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two twin bedrooms and two sofa beds, the apartment is ideal for both families or couples, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Portugal’s sun-drenched Algarve is renowned for its long swathes of sandy beaches and justly so as they fringe almost the entire length of its coastline. Nestled alluringly on the southern tip of Portugal and running from the Spanish border in the east to the Atlantic coast in the west the Algarve encompasses a vast array of beguiling landscapes. Rugged coves lapped by waters shot with piercing hues of jade and sapphire melt into honey-coloured sandy bays.


Armacao de Pera / Alporchinhos area

The town of Armaçao de Pêra is 1km from the apartment and has plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. It is a popular place for holidays all year round, even for the Portuguese.

There are also a number of local bars and restaurants within five minutes walk from the apartment. Marrachinho is the local supermarket which is a five to ten minute walk from the apartment.

Activities in and around the area include walking, golf, tennis, fishing, shopping at Algarve Shopping centre in Guia, horse-riding, snorkelling & diving, sailing, surfing - board, wind and kite, jet-skiing and relaxing on one of the many golden beaches.

Other activities include 'Aqualand' - a giant water park set among lawns and palms with a huge array of pools and slides,which is located just two kilometres away. 'Slide and Splash' in Lagoa is similar, but on a bigger scale with an excellent water area for very young children. 'Zoomarine', part zoo and part theme park, has some amazing shows and is located about five kilometres away in Guia.

Some of the Algarve's finest golf courses are within 15 minutes' drive.


How to get there

Fly to Faro - Vilamoura is just a 40 minute drive from the airport.
Cheap flights available from Jet2, BMI Baby and Easyjet from airports throughout the UK.
Car hire available upon request.
There are always local taxis available - fare should be no more than 67 euros.

The master bedroom has twin beds, which can be joined together to form a double bed if required. There are fitted wardrobes providing ample storeage space. Patio doors lead out of the bedroom onto the balcony. The second bedroom also has twin beds, which can be joined together to form a double bed if required. Free standing wardrobes offer ample storeage space. Patio doors lead out of the bedroom onto the balcony. The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, a bidet, WC, washbasin and is fully tiled. The second bedroom has a shower cubicle, WC, washbasin and is fully tiled.

The open plan lounge/dining area is attractively furnished with two comfortable sofas which both convert into beds offering accommodation for a further two people. There is a television (with all English satellite channels) and a dining table which accommodated up to four people.

The well equipped kitchen has all modern appliances and conveniences including an oven, four-ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Patio doors lead out from the lounge/dining area to a spacious private balcony area with outdoor furniture.

The large communal swimming pool (with an integral children’s pool) is set in a completely enclosed area that is private and exclusive to the residents of the apartment complex. There is a café/bar to the side of the pool area which offers residents meals and light refreshments.

Bookings are confirmed with the payment of a 20% deposit. Balance payments are due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A refundable £50 breakage deposit is also required.

Changeover day is Saturday or Sunday during the busy period. Flexible changeover subject to availability outside of this time period. Guests may gain access to property from 2pm on arrival days and must vacate property by 12 noon on departure days.

Towels and linen included for use within the apartment. Please provide own beach/pool towels. Towel and linen change one a week. Maid service once a week.
