This townhouse in Jardins de Pera is located just five minutes’ drive from Praia Grande beach, in the lovely Portuguese town of Pera. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short distance from the larger resorts of Armacao de Pera and Albufeira. The townhouse has easy access to all amenities including 'Algarve Shopping' centre. There are many excellent restaurants, particularly fish restaurants in and around the area.
The towhouse benefits from a large communal pool, with a shallow end perfect for children. There is also a BBQ area for al-fresco cooking and dining. The open plan living area includes a modern well equipped kitchen. Leading from the living room is a terrace area with pool views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. Secure parking is available immediately in front of the property. With one double and one twin bedroom, this house is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental fee is required to secure booking. Balance payment is due 6 weeks before the start of the rental period.

A refundable breakage/security deposit of £200 is to be paid in cash on arrival. This is normally refunded on departure but no later than 10 days after your departure (subject to a satisfactory property inspection).

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is one of the world's most attractive holiday destinations offering 160 km of gorgeous, golden, sandy beaches, rocky coves, clear waters, rugged cliffs and enchanting grottoes.

The region is blessed with a wonderful climate, ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports in summer, and mild enough in spring, autumn and winter for tennis, golf, clifftop or countryside walking, exploring and sightseeing.

Despite the obvious influence of tourism, a short drive inland reveals the true Algarve where life goes on much as it has for many centuries. This brightly coloured and verdant region is filled with orange groves, almond trees in blossom, carob and fig trees, and fragrant pines as well as some cork farms which are still in operation today.

The Mediterranean plants and trees put on a magnificent show throughout the year and there are plenty of nature parks and sanctuaries along the whole of the Algarve that attract many animals and birds.

For the sports enthusiasts, the Algarve has ideal conditions and top class facilities; The Algarve boasts a multitude of golf courses with many enjoying highly prized reputations. Watersports are second to none with the West coast beaches offering the best surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions.

Places of interest include the region's capital Faro and its old town, Loule and its market situated in a recently renovated Moorish building, Silves and its red fortress, Caldas de Monchique for its thermal waters, Portimao’s old town and port, Lagos for its vitality and historical interest and Cabo de S. Vicente with its imposing light-house.

Above all, the Algarve is a children's haven with several exciting water parks, 'Zoomarine' sealife centre, horse riding centres and plenty of fun on the beaches!

Whatever your preference, you will find your personal paradise in the Algarve.

The Armacao de Pera area

The local residents of Pera used to keep their fishing boats in Armacao de Pera and today part of the beach remains known as 'Fisherman's beach'. Here you can see local fishermen tending to their nets and brightly coloured boats sitting on the sand. While Armacao de Pera gets extremely busy during the summer, Pera remains relatively quiet and unspoilt, a typical Algarvian village. Boasting one of the longest beaches in the Algarve, Praia Grande, stretches from Salgados to Armacao de Pera. It is a wonderful walk with some lovely beach restaurants at either end to rest and refuel before walking back.

There are plenty of excellent fish restaurants in the area and Armacao de Pera can be quite lively in the evenings with bars, shops and restaurants along the promenade. In the summer month evenings the promenade also hosts many craft stalls where you can shop for souvenirs enjoying the warm Algarvian sea breeze.

There is a large shopping complex 'Algarve Shopping' in Guia, just 5 minutes drive from Pera.
Other leisure activities include Zoomarine with its various shows, eateries and childen's rides. There are two water slide parks, 'Aqualand' near Porches is about 5 mins drive and 'Slide and Splash' in Lagoa is just 15 mins away. The sand sculpture exhibition situated behind Pera is 5 mins away.

Golf at Silves 10 mins, Salgados 10 mins, Vilamoura & Penina about 30 minutes drive away, and now 5 minutes from the luxury Amendoeira golf resort with two championship courses design by Nick Faldo & Christie O'Connor.

Local markets are found in Algoz, Armacao de Pera, Albufeira and many other small towns operating monthly.

“Excellent property in an excellent location!” This property had all the necessesary facilities for a great holiday- air conditioning, comfortable beds, jet bath and showers, and also the shared facilities of the main pool and childrens pool plus communal BBQ area and outside toilets. The property was in great condition and very clean on arrival. Just a short taxi ride away and you could be on the beach, at bars and restaurants, shopping centres, and even water parks such as slide and splash and aqua land- both highly recommended!! Lots of information is provided within the house for all the things you can be doing and possible day trips and excursions, so definately handy to have in the house!! We all had a great time and would highly recommend this holiday rental to anyone!

The property is let on a self-catering basis with everything you need including washing machine and dish washer. The property is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before guest arrival with clean towels and bedding. We do NOT provide a maid service. However, where a guest requires a mid-stay clean and/or fresh towels and linen, this service can be provided if requested in advance at the time of booking. The charge will be agreed in advance, confirmed in writing, and must be paid directly to the property managers before the departure date.
