About the home

The apartment is light and spacious in a great location and is ideal self catering holiday with its complex having a private pool and gardens overlooking the countryside.The apartment has a large bedroom which is light and airy leading onto a balcony which overlooks the countryside and pool.The kitchen is fully fitted and has views of the country and mountains and the lounge is spacious and has a flat screen tv ,dvd player and also leads onto a balcony with great views.The apartment has air con through out and is well equipped you can walk to the beach within 5 minutes as its only 600 metres away and is golden sand it also is the longest beach in the algarve stretching over 5 kms and links up to albufeira .The beach offers water sports fishing and you can hire sun loungers and parasols for a small fee.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The algarve has something to offer both young and old but is kown for its beaches and nightlife.
The algarve has over 100 miles of golden sandy beaches and the larger ones have lifeguard patrols throughout the summer.The larger beaches also have cafes bars and restaurants on offering excellent food fresh from the sea and cold drinks.All the beaches are free to use however there is a small charge for the hire of the sun loungers and parasols.The weather in the algarve is consistent through out the year giving over 300 days sunshine each year peaking in July and august. Most of the coastal towns and cities date back to 2000 bc and you can visit the Roman ruins dotted all around the coast free.

The Armacao de Pera / Quinta dos Arcos area

Armacao de pera has two distinct areas the typical fishing village and the modern apartments which blend in well.The fishing village boasts typical portuguese food in typical restaurants where the mood is warm and hospitalble.Then the mordern restaurants with all international flavours which is warm and welcoming its a holiday destination not to be missed.Armacao de pera is ideal to use as a starting point to investgate the beautiful country and coastline.The village of pera has a sand festival each year opening in june and closing in october and artists from all over the world take part in designing sand sculptures.
There are two championship golf courses within 10 minutes and they give discounted rates to our guests.
The marina does daily boat trips along the coast from dolphin watching to fishing and the power boat ride for the thrill seekers.Each week theres a market selling fresh produce and clothing and hand carved statues for that holiday present.Ther are also several water parks within 5/10 minutes of the apartment the most famous one is zoo marine that has interactive dolphins.The marine lets you swim with the dolphins for an extra charge which they use for conservation or you can just use the water slides and sun bath in the gardens.The largest and oldest water park aquland is only minutes away and has a free bus service to and from the park its open 7 days a wek from 9.00 am till 7.00pm through out the summer months.The largest town nearby is Albufeira which is known for its nightlife and fantastic beaches its 7 kms away but offers a great night out from early to late for young and old.

“Our apartment was wonderful and in a great location, we would certainly come back again.” Our apartment was great. It was very spacious and very comfortable. We felt very at home instantly. Everything you need in the kitchen too. The town was a 5-8 minute walk away, and we regulary went to the nearest large supermarket which is 10 mins away. We found a quicker way to go there, just by wandering round the area. The town of Armacao is lovely, and its mostly Portuguese who holiday there, but we like that. All in all, we had a great time, and so wished we had had another 3 days, as we normally go away for 10 days. Super accomadation and holiday! Response: This client was great to have on our apartment and is always welcome back
