The living room consists of two double sofas and leads onto the private balcony that has a hammock for those lazy days.
There is a large dining area with seating for 6 people and there is a flat screen TV with satellite (English)and a DVD player.
The BBQ balcony has a large table with seating for 6 people for al fresco dining and looks on to the communal pools
The kitchen is large and fully fitted with washing machine,oven hob,cooker,microwave,fridge freezer, dishwasher and leads on to the BBQ balcony

The west of algarve has over 200 kms of golden sandy beaches and on the larger ones are lifeguard patrols all summer long.
These beaches are free to use and you can hire sun loungers and parasols for a daily or weekly charge.Most of the beaches have restaurants serving excellent fresh food and cold drinks all year around.
The algarve has the highest european awarded flags for their clean water and beaches in europe.
The larger beaches have all the water sports on offer such as jet skiing,snorkeling,paddle boating and para gliding.
The weather in theAlgarve is another reason for holidaying here as you get over 300 days a year sunshine
.The central area of the algarve also has natural harbours and a large fishing industry dating back hundreds of years.
The Armacao de Pera / Quinta dos Arcos area
Armação de Pêra was named after the inland region of Pera in Portugal, where the fishermen came down from originally and armação, which was a specially adapted boat, with a combined netting system, designed by the Moors.
Today Armação de Pêra is a lively family Algarve resort, which is very popular with european holidaymakers in the summer. It has a wonderful long sandy beach stretching all the way to Praia de gale.
Arriving on the outskirts of Armação de Pêra, there are now huge numbers of new apartments along with new roads and roundabouts to link it all together. The centre (centro) and the beach (praia) are clearly signposted, and there are several roads leading to the beach, so if you miss the first one, don't worry! There is a large area of ground at the western end where you can park and another large area at the eastern end by the fishermen's beach, along with a multi-storey by Pingo Doce supermarket.
Armação de Pêra Chapel dedicated to Santo AntónioArmação de Pêra is a mix of quaint buildings and new, modern apartment blocks along the sea front. The 'old village' is at the eastern end by the fishermen's beach and is more typically Algarvean. It is here, on the beachfront that the remains of a 17th century fort still stand - built to defend the village from pirates and corsairs by a wealthy fishing boat owner. There is a chapel inside, dedicated to Santo António, which is also 17th century.
The views of the coast from the fort are of the long, long stretch of golden sand which runs from the rocks and caves at the western end by Senhora da Rocha, to Praia de Galé (near to Albufeira) in the east.
The cobbled street on the corner of the hill opposite the whitewashed fort leads down into a network of little streets with a variety of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. It would be quite easy to miss this part of the town if you are concentrating on the sea front, which would be a shame as it's one of the prettiest parts of Armação de Pêra.
There are also numerous restaurants and cafés along the sea front of the 'old village', including a couple on the beach near the fishing boats, most of which (obviously!) have local, freshly caught fish on the menu.
Largo da Igreja (Church Square) in Armação de Pêra Walking westwards along the front from the fort you will come to the quite attractive Largo da Igreja (Church Square) on the right hand side with the church in the middle and framed by trees. If it's open, it's worth a look. It's not very big or grand, but just has something appealing about it.
Further along the tree lined promenade widens into an area with an internet cabin, café, childrens play area and gardens - it is here that there is a wide sloping path to the beach suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
At the western end of the promenade there are several quite new apartment blocks with some attractive cafés and bars in and around them.
Armação de Pêra, for a town of it's size, doesn't seem to have a natural centre, other than the 'old village'. The new developments tend to have their own mini centres of restaurants, shops etc.
The promanade has been made into a car free zone so its great for walking along the sea front going in and out of the cafes,bars and restaurants with out traffic.
Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha in Armação de PêraStill going west, you come to Nossa Senhora da Rocha (Our Lady of the Rocks) with it's beach, and several hotels and low rise apartments spreading over the cliffs. There is a very small chapel on the cliffs (probably dating from 15th/16th centuries) above the beach within the remains of a fort. (It has glass doors so that you can look in even when it is locked - it really is tiny!) From here you get good views of Armação de Pêra and along the coast to Albufeira and there are also a couple of places to stop for refreshments after all the sightseeing!
Armação de Pêra has everything you need for a lovely holiday - fantastic beach, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
It is also ideally placed for a day out at Zoomarine sea-life park at Guia, a trip to 'Algarve Shopping' mall, also at Guia and the water parks at Alcantarilha and Lagoa.
Albufeira is the closest large town and can be walked along the beach taking 30 minutes or a 10 minute taxi ride and has a strong nightlife and some beautiful beaches well worth a day out.
The village of Pera holds a sand festival every year opening in May until October and each year the festival has different themes from around the world.
The festival attracts some of the best artists from around the world designing sand sculptures some taking weeks to complete.
Open 7 days a week from 08.00to 22.00 every night.

Very spacous and ideal layout for 6 people. Very well appointed apartment with all mod cons. 2 lovely balconies with sun & shade. Location good for the shops, restuarants & the lovely beach. Can recommend Pasteleria Almar (downstairs) for a warm welcome, good value and friendly service. Does a very nice Chicken PeriPeri if you ask. Aquapark is a good day out. Very clean & loads of space for picnics etc. We are definately going back 2013. Response: This apartment is stunning the photographs do not do it justice and the location is superb . The town centre and the massive praia grande beach are 800 metres away its ideal for the family holiday . |

The picture of the apartment does it no justice at all IT IS HUGE the place is fantastic massive living area 2 great size bedrooms 1 twin & 1 double the on suite one is better than some 5 star hotels we have stayed in . The area is lovely there is a short cut to the beach so you are there in about 3 minuets the main centre is about 7 or 8 mins away . There are plenty of little cafe bars and a mix of resteraunts this place is great to just chill and relax sit in a cafe bar and just watch the world go bye .
