The apartment has one bed-room with a king size bed, fitted wardrobe and air conditioning. The lounge provides a leather suite and light oak dining furniture in spacious air conditioned surroundings. The patio doors lead out to the balcony with a clear view to the sea and sun facing all day. The large sofa bed has a quality sprung mattress (certainly not the thin strip of sponge sometimes found!) which can comfortably sleep two adults, and also a lounge chair which converts into a single (sprung) sofa bed. The bathroom is in the hallway next to both the main bedroom and easily reached from the lounge, it has a bath and shower facilities.
The kitchen has everything anyone could need, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge & freezer and patio doors leading to the balcony which runs the length of the apartment and enjoys clear views to the sea. Ideal for relaxing with a bottle of wine to watch the sunset! The TV has satalite with english channels.

Truly close to the beach, the property has a sunny terrace with BBQ. It is almost brand new and very clean, there is a quiet restaurant below the building which closes at 10.30pm but serves excellant meals and the cocktails at around 8pm watching the sunset are highly recommended.
The pool area has a large terrace for sun-bathing and enjoying the pool with sun loungers and beach umbrellers provided. The apartment is not overlooked by high-rise properties. It takes literally 4 minutes to the quiet beach and 10 minutes to the centre
There are lifts to all floors and video controlled entry. The air conditioning can be set to both hot and cold.

The town comprises the old town in the east and the more recently developed part of the town to the west which is mainly holiday apartments built over bars and restaurants on the ground floor. In the three summer months the town is exceptionally popular with tourists and portugese week-end visitors, but outside the top of the season it offers a wonderful peaceful holiday location. It is combination of fishing town, providing a great opportunity to mingle with the returning fishermen on the beach and watch the catch of the day being sold. The prominade area has been totally renewed and is a delightfully relaxing atmosphere when holidaymakers stroll and take in beautiful views across the ocean and spend time in the many well serviced cafe bars and restaurants along the sea front. This area is calm and relaxing, definitely not a wild people strewn space!
The Armacao de Pera area
Places near to Armação de Pera are the market towns of Algoz, Alcantarilha, Porches and the inland historic and attractive city of Silves with its magnificent walls and castle. For the golfer, the nearest course about 5 minutes drive with many others in the vacinity. The Zoo Marine water-park is very close and the large Algarve Shopping Centre is also well worth a visit if it is possible to tear yourself away from the long sandy beaches and clear seas. Aqualand water park is a five minute drive from the apartment, in Alcantarilha. For those without a car, both Zoomarine (Portugal's Sea World) and Aqualand provide free buses from Armacoa.
The Prais Grande is a natural wildlife conservation area and includes a beautifully conserved beach area, however, all the beaches in the area and perfectly clean and well served with beach restaurants serving a range of snacks and sumputous fresh fish, the grilled tuna served algarve style is not to be missed.
Fishing trips and golf courses abound. Try shark fishing for a holiday adventure!
