"An extraordinary chalet to enjoy, or use as a base for awesome day trips."

From the moment we glimpsed the chalet through the trees when arriving, my wife and I just knew this would be a special holiday. We had seen the photos on the website, but nothing beats the realisation that it is all true, than when you experience it in person. The positioning of the chalet is stunning, perched atop a manicured mound of green, enhancing the view of the famed Mont Blanc. Unbelievable views from the balcony or reading room or balconies, all day every day. Even cloud movements become enthralling with such a stunning outlook.. And here is the conundrum, do we stay "home" and enjoy all that is on offer, or do we take a day trip into Italy or Switzerland or go and take a closer look at the Glaciers? Fortunately we had over two weeks, so were able to have a few blissfully restful days with Mont Blanc as a reading companion and a few days exploring the neighbouring regions as well as a day or two shopping in Chamonix where the Saturday market was a highlight. The even bigger highlight of our stay though was the catering provided by our wonderful chef, Jen. Anticipating breakfast each morning became our alarm clock and it was a meal that prepared us for whatever our day became. But no matter how good breakfast had been, we soon found ourselves wondering, "what's for dinner"? Exceptionally prepared dinners every night, is a luxury we had never experienced and combined with the ambience, the stunning location and the luxury of the chalet itself left us humbled at just how fortunate we were. We went in summer, but realising it is in the mountain, we took clothes for varied weather which was a good move, as a couple of days were cool, but they were great book reading days too! A stunning holiday.

"Jon Law's friendliness and professionalism informed every part of our experience."

We were only able to stay at Marmotte Mountain's Libellule chalet for 1 week, doing 6 days' skiing, but Jon Law and his team made it an utterly pleasurable experience. I calculated the all in cost per person per day of skiing, not insignificant, but I think that everyone in my party of 8 felt that we had got really good value for money, given the experience enjoyed at the time and the benign overhang of the holiday which is continuing even though we are now back. Jon, Jenny and the others are warm, the chalet nearly 3 times the surface area of my 3 bed house in London, the chalet ski in, ski out (something of a rarity in Chamonix/Argentiere) to the fabulous Grands Montets area, which rises to 3,200m - don't worry, there are others-, the food high class, the general feeling one of a high level of contentment rarely matched during the other 51 weeks of the year.

"The best Chamonix can offer"

This is a great chalet! Our large family has been travelling to Chamonix for the last 7 years and tried a number of chalets, operators and locations ... until we came to this chalet last year. Combination of a hard to beat location (literally 20 meters from the lift), quality of the chalet itself and great service did the trick. We came for the second this year and it was excellent again. Consistency of Jonathan's team service is a major plus. This chalet is as good as you can get in Chx! Strongly recommend!
