The Limousin / Auvergne / Correze region
. Correze is renowned for it's lush vegetation, forests, lakes and rivers which conjures up the ideal conditions for the many outdoor activities. There is an abundance of archaeoological sites of interest, ranging from caves, medieval ruins and chateaux, such as Rocamadour, Les Tours de Merle, Gouffre de Padirac (travelling through underground caves by boat), Collange la Rouge to name a few.
Argentat area
Our local, small market town is buzzing with summer festivities. Music, pottery and art are great for families who are encouraged to join in. There are many great local restaurants and cafés to sample. There is also a farmer's market in our commune, selling and sampling local gastronomic delights.
How to get there
We are situated between the airports of Rodez and Limoge which are approximately one and a half hours drive. Car rentals are available from both airports and easy to book through Ryanair. . By train it is 4 hrs from Paris on the TGV which brings you to Brive la Gaillarde, 50 kilometres from La Grange Noix.
