This Studio apartment although small, is quite spacious for a studio, the style is eclectic, consisting of a main room with a separate kitchen, separate shower, separate toilet and inside balcony. It sleeps four people, on a double bed and two pull out beds where you can sleep very well in this quiet apartment complex.

In the Low season there are some full time residents so although it's quiet you are not alone, the nearby supermarket and some restaurants are still open. The main town of Argeles is busy with local life all year with restaurants shops and the Saturday market. The Port of Argeles also has restaurants and a small grocery shop, it is just a short cycle, drive or 20minute walk tobuy fish, view the boats or have a romantic evening, the next town Coulioure is even more romantic!!!

Situated at the base of the Pryenees this studio is central to so many of the wonderful amenities that the area has to offer. Wonderful beach coves created by the mountains sweeping down to the sea, these hills are also excellent for Hill walking and there is a wonderful Cliff walk from nearby Racoe beach to the old harbour town Collioure.

Art lovers can find Galleries everywhere, in nearby Ceret, Collioure with Spain hosting all the Dali Museums, his homes and galleries, just an hour away! This area is an Artists and Art lover's paradise.

There is also the famous Langudoc Route de Vin to follow all along the coast into Spain and back inland. The cuisine is both French and Catalan with lots of delicious Seafood too!

Perpignan is 30 minutes, with all that a city has to offer.

The mountains sweep down to the sea creating many interesting coves just south of the long sandy beach of Argeles sur mer. These foothills to the Pyrenees are excellent for hill walking, stretching from Argeles to Andora. Also enjoy visiting the many medieval villages and castles along the way or take a day trip through the mountains to Carcasson, Carcassone can be reached there and back in a day.

The marine life is also good for snorkelling, scuba diving and fishing and for Golf lovers there is also an excellent golf course at St Cyprian just north of Argeles.

Public transport is excellent, great trains and the amazing 1€ bus service on the hour till 5pm or later, from Perpignan to Banules, up to Ceret and many more places, all for 1€ per trip.

During the year it is easy to find parking at the apartment except in July and August when they are all fully used, however it is possible to park outside the car parking area.

There are no pets in the Studio but you do see the odd cat which belongs to a resident.

We now have a low speed WiFi connection which you top up as you use, new credit can be bought in the Orange Store or in the Tabac stores. You will receive the codes with the keys on arrival. There are also many WiFi hotspots.

Bedding and towels are provided along with a hairdryer and an iron. If you like cycling there are two bikes available which are nice for shopping and viewing the area, so no need to hire bikes!

This apartment is also ideal for those who want a quiet space to write, study or use as a spring board from where you can take in all that the area has to offer.
