Mimosa is a cosy one bedroom ground floor apartment situated in a quiet location, yet in the heart of the village with a large private terrace. It's found just a few minutes walk from shops & restaurants. It is ideal for couples or a single person. Located just 10 mins drive from superb sandy beaches & surrounded by mountain scenery it's a wonderful base for exploration.
The terrace leads directly to a fully fitted kitchen/sitting room with large window. There is everything you might need including a microwave as well as a full size oven & hob. Furnishings include marble dining table & chairs, sofa bed & T.V. The modern shower room includes shower, sink & W.C.The separate bedroom includes good size double bed & wardrobe.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
With an average of 300 days of sun you are sure to enjoy yourself here. Summers are hot, winters mild & spring & Autumn are especially beautiful with everything in flower.
This is wonderful walking & cycling country. Strolling through grapevines, mountain walks & swimming in rock pools are all possible here. Both sea & mountains are within 10 minutes drive.
Stunning Collioure a little fishing village on the sea & Ceret with it's popular market overflowing with fresh local produce are worth visit.
Perpignan is 20 minutes drive & Spain's unspoilt Costa Brava is within easy reach. Barcelona is two hours drive away.
The pyreanean mountains are worth a visit & offer skiing in winter & cool air in summer. Hot thermal bathes are good value & a totally different experience. The Grand Canalettes offer huge stalagmites to investigate.
The only problem you'll have is trying to fit it all in!!!
Argeles / Sorede area
This is an area steeped in Catalan tradition. It has many carnivals & festivals throughout the year.
Sorede is a very friendly & Authentic village, with a good selection of shops & restaurants. The tourist office is very helpful & located near a small bank & post office. In the village you will also find several small museums (including a turtle park.) tennis, boules piste, swimming pool( July/August) & horse riding.
The blue flag rated sandy beaches of Argeles are perfect to relax or read a book. There is a wonderful palm tree lined promenade to stroll along. Plenty of good value restaurants tempt you with seafood being a speciality. For keen walkers there are a huge variety of terrains to explore, whether on the flat or uphill. Notre dame du Chatau is well worth a visit & can be reached strait from the apartment after a couple of hour walk. The views from here are really breathtaking. Go up to Lavail & you will find rock pools large enough for swimming.& a delicious Creparie to try afterwards!

Conditions
30% booking deposit required on booking in sterling or Euros. The balance is paid 8 weeks before your holiday. The full amount is due if booking within 8 weeks of your stay. There is a £200/200E deposit to be paid with this. This will be returned on departure or within two weeks if everything is in order. We do not worry about a broken glass, just let us know so we can replace it. We also accept payment via a credit/debit card via PayPal. This is the method of choice outside Europe;
Linen is optional at £5/7.50 per person per week
Cleaning available at £15/20e per hour
