Modern 2 bedroom villa set in peaceful surroundings with parking space, tennis courts & swimming pool private to the Domaine. Beautiful sandy beaches are 10 minutes drive away. La Vigne is walking distance from shops, restaurants wine cave & market selling fresh local produce.
The terrace is fenced with plenty of space to eat & relax. French doors lead to the light airy sitting room. Also located on the ground floor is a spacious bedroom with king size bed & modern bathroom with full size bath & washing machine. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with sloping roof with 2-3 single beds.
Sorede is an authentic friendly village set in the foothills of the Alberes close to both sea & mountains. There is lots to explore in the area by foot, car or bicycle.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
With an average of 300 days of sun you are sure to enjoy yourself here. Summers are hot, winters mild & spring & Autumn are especially beautiful with everything in flower.
This is wonderful walking & cycling country. Strolling through grapevines, mountain walks & swimming in rock pools are all possible here. Both sea & mountains are within 10 minutes drive.
Stunning Collioure a little fishing village on the sea & Ceret with it's popular market overflowing with fresh local produce are both worth visit. Perpignan 20 minutes drive, has plenty of little shops, restaurants & sites.
The Pyreanean mountains are worth exploring & offer skiing in winter & cool air in summer. Hot thermal bathes are good value & a totally different experience. The Grand Canalettes offer huge stalactites to investigate. The little yellow train with open carriages takes you through stunning mountain scenery. Children love it too.
Spain is about 20 mins drive away. It's unspoilt Costa Brava is within easy reach. The interesting towns of Girona & Barcelona are within day trip range.
Argeles / Sorede area
This is an area steeped in Catalan tradition. It has many carnivals & festivals throughout the year.
Sorede is a very friendly & Authentic village, with a good selection of shops & restaurants. The tourist office is very helpful & located near a small bank & post office. In the village you will also find several museums (including a turtle park) tennis, boules piste, swimming pool( July/August) & horse riding. Having done the later myself I can really recommend it.
For keen walkers there are a huge variety of terrains to explore, whether on the flat or uphill. Notre dame du Chateau is well worth a visit & can be reached strait from the villa after a couple of hour walk. The views from here are really breathtaking. Go up to Lavail & you will find rock pools large enough for swimming & a delicious Creparie to try afterwards!
The sandy beaches of Argeles are 10 mins drive away & perfect for children to build sandcastles while you relax. Restaurants are generally good value & family orientated. Here there is a wonderful palm tree lined promenade to stroll or cycle along.
The area has plenty for children to do including an aqua park & adventure park.

Girona airport Ryanair flights large number of flights from U.K. & Ireland 1 hour by car.
Carcassonne & Beziers airport 1hr 30 mins by car.
Barcelona airport has international flights 2 hours by car.
Raileurope is useful for coming by train.

Further details indoors: La Vigne has a pretty terrace large enough to enjoy a meal or glass of wine 'en dehors'. French doors lead to a beamed sitting room/ kitchen which is light & airy with high ceilings.This includes English free to view Sky TV & WIFI. The bathroom has a full size bath & there is a separate loo. The good size double bedroom has a large window overlooking the terrace.
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with velux window & sloping roof, which can sleep up to 3 people.
Further details outdoors: Well maintained pretty paths lead to a swimming pool & tennis courts private to the Domaine. There is a large table, chairs & parasol. BBQ & Sun loungers are provided.

Linen is available for 7.50€ per person per week.. Cleaning or babysitting possible for £10/ 15 per hour.
Conditions
30% booking deposit required on booking paid in sterling or Euros. The balance is paid 8 weeks before your holiday. Payment must be made in full if booking within 8 weeks of you holiday. There is a £200/200E deposit to be paid with this. This will be returned on departure or within two weeks if everything is in order. We do not worry about a broken glass, just let us know so we can replace it.
We also accept payment by credit card via PayPal

Payment is in Euros to our French account or pounds to our UK account (new bookings). We take a 30% booking deposit. The balance is paid 8 weeks before arrival. If booking within 8 weeks we will need payment in full. There is a £200/200€ deposit paid on arrival which is returned if all is in order.
5% off bookings of 3 weeks or more outside October 31st 09 to April 23rd 2010. Last minute shorter stays possible.

Cleaning & babysitting is available at 15€ per hour.
