You are welcomed in Arras en Lavedan at Blue Cairn Lodge. An authentic mountain village in the heart of the Hautes Pyrénées, you will understand why this valley was also named the 'Eden of the Pyrenees'! The entire property available for rental at all holiday periods includes this smaller charming "bigourdane" gîte and superbe large house on beautiful grounds of 3000m . A picture postcard is revealed from every window. South-facing, you will enjoy long sunlight hours, from dawn to dusk, and will profit all the more from your private garden where you can sit and eat out, relax or play. This idyllic setting is in the calm and tranquility of what was, until very recently, a convent! We have re-converted this building with the main concerns being authenticity and comfort. The generous rooms have been decorated and furnished with quality furniture and this gives a 'cosy yet elegant' ambience. The kitchens in both houses are independant and fully equipped. The village, 2 mins by foot, offers a boulangerie (bread shop), post office and 2 café/restaurants. All other services you may need are 5 mins by car in 'Argeles Gazost'
Blue Cairn Lodge is a "Gite de France"

"Amazing time with my family during Christmas time"
We spent one week with my family ( 9 adults and 4 kids ) in this house for Christmas.
It was exactly what we .re looking : quiet area in the mountain, amazing view from.the house, enought space for the all family, it.s a little paradise.
We did ski in Cauteret, walk , many places to visit around.
There is a playgroung with tennis court so close from the house, we had amazing time.
My little boy was asking every morning to go out to see the chicken and pick up the eggs !
Thanks you so much Mandy and Sacha !
Very nice owner, I recommand this place
