Casa Mila provides the ideal opportunity to experience the joys of life;

Relax in the picturesque garden with a glass of local wine, whilst enjoying the glorious summer weather.
In the Art gallery next door, you can admire the frescoes of the early Renaissance painters including Piero dello Francesca and works by local artists including those by Della Robbia, Alberti, Pontorno, Rosso Fiorentino, and Signorelli

The Tuscany region

So many places to choose from !.. Try the glory of Florence (go by train from Arezzo) come home laden and return to the peace of Sansepolcro.

Visit Cortona on the hill, still so appealing (even after the book) . Superb squares filled with fine historic buildings lots of shops and eateries.

No Car? it doesn.t matter. Take the little local train to the Perugia Santa Anna station, and ride the escalators up up up into the fortezza in the centre of town. Elegant Corso Vanucci. Magnificent Art Gallery, smart shops and cafes. Italian chic. Home of Perugina and Baci chocolates.They even have a chocolate festival!.

Arezzo is just 45 minutes on the bus. There is an enormous Antique Market on the 1st
Sunday of each month, it fills the streets in the historic centre, you may find what you are looking for.

Still more time available? Visit Assisi ,Gubbio, or the mosiacs in Ravenna, each town little more than an hour's drive away.

Saunter out the back gate to the Corso, admire the smart shops and have an aperitivo at the K Bar.or visit La Spiga bakery to sample exquisite Bombellini, tiny custard doughnuts with your coffee.
Swim in the pool complex or just doze under the trees.

Anghiari is just 7 km up the road.This original fortified hilltown is a jewel! . Come, on Market day have a slice of pizza and a prosecco in Piazza Baldaccio.

Arezzo the capital of the Province is renown as a gold and jewellery centre. It is also the gateway to the wine region of Chianti , Visit some of the local vineyards.

Sansepolcro celebrates the Palio della Balestre on the 2nd Sunday of September every year.
It is the annual crossbow competition with the city of Gubbio . Great festivities around this time in traditional renaissance dress.

Fly to Pisa or Bologna, train to Arezzo, bus to Sansepolcro.
Fly to Perugia bus/taxi to Ponti San Giovani station, train to Sansepolcro.
Fly to Ancona, Rimini or Rome (Ciampino) hire car to Sansepolcro.
