On the ground floor is an entrance hall off which is a bedroom with 2 single beds, a shower room with WC, kitchen, and a sitting room with open fireplace and doors onto a large terrace overlooking the valley. Downstairs is a lounge and dining area with doors leading outside to the patio. First floor is a study/dining area (lovely), then 2 bedrooms with single beds, 2 bathrooms and master bedroom (en suite) with double bed. The annex (5 yards away) has a large bedroom with double bed, balcony, and bathroom with bath and lovely views. Quite simply it is a stunning villa just 1 km outside Citerna (walking distance into town centre) within easy reach of all the top attractions.

The Tuscany region
The AREA
The Upper Tiber Valley is the eastern edge of Tuscany, where the province of Arezzo meets Umbria, and the Tiber begins its long path to the sea. The countryside is gentle and picturesque, a panorama of wooded hills and vineyards dotted with tiny, fortified villages.
CLIMATE
Can get very hot although usually not stiffling due to the hillside location and elevation. Excellent conditions from April to October although April and October can sometimes have wet spells.
Arezzo area
The night life and history of Arezzo is nearby with the magnificence of Pisa, Rome, Florence and Siena within a short drive.
How to get there
Fly Ryanair to Bologna Forli (closest) from Stanstead also to Ancona, Pisa and Rome. Easyjet from Stanstead to same airports plus Bristol to Bologna. Car hire with Hertz as partners for Ryanair is around £14 a day for a standard car. Buses are not good as property is 1 km outside Citerna and would recommend a hired car in all cases.
