Villa | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 10
Villa Paradiso is a splendid villa situated in a strategic and panoramic position with stunning views over the open countryside. The villa has been constructed in two symmetrical wings, slightly curved to follow the longitudinal slope of the land, that are joined by a central loggia dividing the villa between the guest wing and the family wing. The south wing of the villa will be rented. The owners live in the north wing and they are very discreet persons to guarantee total privacy to their guests, also every year they spend the summertime at the seaside.
The villa has attractive views over the large park of the property and the surrounding countryside with olive groves and vineyards. The numerous paths around the villa invite you to go for walks in the park perfectly combining nature and art. The proximity to the town of Arezzo gives you the opportunity to enjoy the quiet of the place within easy reach of the shops and restaurants and all the amenities.
The three-storey villa has a regular shape. The large living area with fireplace is on the ground floor where you access directly from the main entrance. The dining room opens from the living room. The TV room is located on the left of the entrance. A large marble spiral staircase leads to the first floor with four bedrooms (3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedded room), all with air conditioning, and three bathrooms two of which en suite (2 bathrooms are with bathtub, 1 bathroom has a shower). The bedrooms have access to the external terraces with enchanting views of the landscape and the city of Arezzo. A narrower spiral staircase leads down to the kitchen in the basement and from here to the ironing room/store room: there is also a fourth bathroom with shower and one more twin bedroom. On the same floor a French window leads outside to the car park.
This luxury accommodation has been tastefully furnished with great care by the owners using mostly period pieces and antiques. Its impressive marble stairs and floors are the last touch of style that makes this property a unique villa. It will be perfect for those who really appreciate real elegance and class. Thanks to its location and to all the chic characteristics Villa Paradiso has been the set for fabulous weddings, music festivals and movies.
Garden & Swimming Pool:
The villa is surrounded by 12 acres of land transformed into a park by Pietro Porcinai (1910-1986), the world famous Florentine landscape designer. The park has been published in numerous specialist magazines thanks to its originality and beauty. The theatre, constructed by Porcinai using only trees and plants, has to be mentioned. The large garden in front of the villa is an ideal place where special events can be organised. In the park there is a beautiful swimming pool.
The outdoor areas are well equipped with gazebo with table and chairs, the swimming pool is set in the extensive garden and it is of exclusive use of the guests.
Open from end of April to the end of September, the pool, with Roman steps leading down into the water, measures 6 x 12 m with the depth varying from 1.80 to 3.00 m is set 100 m from the villa. It is well equipped with deckchairs and sun umbrellas.

The Arezzo territory is located at the meeting point between three of the four valleys surrounding the area. Directly north of the city is the Casentino; the Upper Arno Valley lies to the northeast; and the Chiana Valley to the South. The area is vast and varied: the terrain ranges from flatlands to hillsides to mountains. Neighboring towns include Civitella and Castiglion Fiorentino.
Located on the top of a 345m hill, Castiglion Fiorentino offers magnificent views of the Chio Valley and the Preappennino, which glitters with the silverly light of olive groves. Its strategic position between Arezzo and Chiusi made it a center inhabited during the time of the Etruscans (6th to 5th c. BC); it was an important medieval center as well. The historic center, dominated by the Cassero tower and surrounded by walls, preserves the medieval structure and is testimony to the artistic history of the area since the time of the Etruscans. Its position as border town between Tuscany and Umbria makes it an easy place to get to from many of Italy's cities. Visitors can find traditional cooking, local organic produce and artiginal productions.
Other nearby towns are Laterina, Castiglion Fibocchi, Capolona, Anghiari, Monterchi, Bucine and Cortona, as well as the city of Perugia, in Umbria.
