About the home

Accommodation includes:-
Groundfloor-1 double bedroom with a/c , one twin room with a/c, and one bedroom with twin beds and a/c, a hallway, and garage. There is a house bathroom with bath and good supply of hot water, a washbasin and WC. Aircon in bedrooms only.
On the upper floor there is a lounge with beamed ceiling, balcony with sea view, kitchen with cooker, kettle, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment. The kitchen is equipped with toaster, cutlery, crockery and glassware, and cooking utensils. There is a shower room and WC and a double bedroom with beamed ceiling and a/c.
Hand and bath towels and sheets are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
Maid service is an optional extra.
The beautiful beach is easily reached on foot.

Ceiling fans in three bedrooms. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and there are French windows leading to a balcony where meals and drinks can be enjoyed. The kitchen is off the lounge.
There is a garage where items are stored.

Private 8m x 4m pool, on maintenance contract twice per week. The pool is fairly new.

Arenal D'en Castell Beach

The Menorca region

This 4 bedroom villa is situated overlooking the beautiful horseshoe shaped bay of Arenal D’en Castell, with its sandy beach. The beach is easily reached via steps approximately 140 meters away. It has pedalos, sun beds,parasols and diving is available at Coves Noves nearby.
There are approximately nine restaurants in the resort, three of them by the beach.
The supermarkets, newsagents, souvenir shops and car hire offices are within easy walking distance of the villa.

The Arenal d'en Castell area

Port of Mahon is well worth a visit There are many quality restaurants on the port to be visited. The local sea bass baked in salt is excellent, and complimented by the local white Vina Sol.
Menorca has been described as a bit of Britain stuck out at sea.
TheBrtisn brought sash windows to Menorca and if you stroll round Mahon's streets you will see them. There are plenty of clues to the British occupation-on the north shore of the glittering Mahon harbour for example, stands an elegant maroon and cream Georgian house where Horatio Nelson reputedly enjoyed a romantic tryst with pretty Emma Hamilton in 1799. Across the harbour the village of Es Castell still has some English street names, from the day it was named Georgetown and proudly flew the Union Jack. Must sees are the old army hospital on Kings Island, currently being restored by volunteers, The Massive Fortress of the Mola, Underground Fort Marlborough and the ruins of Fort San Felip all round the big natural harbour of Mahon. The Gin factory is also good to visit and a glass bottomed boat trip round the harbour stopping off at Cala Fons for coffee or a San Miguel is worthwhile.
Further affield on the north coast stands the pretty old Spanish vfishing village of Fornells where King Juan Carlos comes on his yacht Fortuna to visit the Es Pla restaurant where he dines on the Calderetta-a sea food stew made from tomatoes and Spiny rock lobsters caught nearby.

There is a regular car ferry in the summer to and from Barcelona. There are flights from Barcelona and Madrid as well as most UK airports.
Monarch, Jet 2, First Choice, Thompson, My Travel and Easyjet fly to Menorca.
