Just a short walk away are the Singing Sands and peaceful Kentra Bay, a sandy beach well worth a visit. The house sleeps 8 comfortably and the sleeping accommodation can be adapted to suit your needs with two double sofa beds and a 3-bedded bunk room. Ideal for two families.

The Highlands region
On the north side of the Ardnamurchan Peninsular, a hidden corner of the Highlands of Scotland, and looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, this area provides a stunning landscape filled with wildlife, history and wonderful scenery. The area is fabulous walking territory for all abilities and Ben Nevis is just over an hour's drive away should you wish to try something more arduous.
Ardnamurchan / Newton of Ardtoe, Acharacle area
Ruined castles, wildlife and historic boat trips, scenic drives, sports - golf, walking, fishing, cycling, diving, sailing etc. There's much to do and see here. Take the Jacobite Express out of Fort William (from May to October) and travel up to Mallaig or take the cable car up Ben Nevis then walk down at your leisure after taking in the panoramic views. Visit the Glenfinnan Monument where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised the standard way back in 1745 or take the Road to the Isles.
How to get there
Take the Corran Ferry (no booking required), 8 miles south of Fort William on the A82, across to Ardgour. On leaving the ferry turn left and head for Strontian. Once through Strontian, head for Salen then Acharacle. Go through the village and, after a mile or so, turn left signposted for Newton of Ardtoe.

Further details indoors: We provide all wood required for the wood burning stove in the living room and the television has all terrestrial channels plus basic Sky TV. DVD and video players are available with a film library plus a Playstation 2 with a selection of games. The radio/CD player has a selection of music available. Small welcome pack provided free of charge together with a light evening meal on your day of arrival.
All bed linen, duvets and pillows together with bath towels are provided. Linen is not provided for the cot - please bring your own.

Conditions
Bookings start at 4pm on Saturdays and end at 10am the following Saturday. Pets are allowed subject to prior agreement and a damage deposit of £100 is required.
