Located in the Co Waterford with uninterrupted views of the coastline, this self- catering accommodation was recently refurbished with completion in May 2013. This 150 year old house retains ' boutique' old world elegance with beautiful furniture combined with the modern convenience of high speed wireless internet , a great kitchen and flat screen TVs and DVD.

10 minutes walk from 1 beach and 10 minutes drive from an alternate beach with 6 miles of sand suitable for children.

It is in a rural setting with plenty of peace and quiet - 6 miles from the nearest village Ardmore and is 3 miles from the nearest pub. Extensive pet farm and play area 6 miles. Kayaking, climbing and walking routes.

Brownes Farm House is located 12 miles from Dungarvan on the coast road to Ardmore in Old Parish ( an Tsean phobal) . .

Oldparish is part of the Waterford Gaeltacht ( Irish speaking area ) so it is ideal to experience living in a traditional irish setting , rich in music, folklore and the craic. But don't worry everyone speaks English too

This is the ideal location for watersports , kayaking, hiking, walking, eating out ( Michelin star restaurant within 6 miles) and experiencing Irish culture and heritage.

5 minutes from the beach, children can spend hours learning to skim stones , hunt for crabs in the rock pools, chase butterflies enjoying beautiful natural surroundings.

For the adventurous surfing and kayaking is available locally.

The area is great for Walking or mountain climbing.

There are a number of very good restaurants in the local area including the winner of the Best Irish Restaurant 2013 The Tannery Dungarvan and a michelin star holder, the Cliff House Hotel Ardmore.

Paul and myself are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. It is great you got a chance to see so many of the local attractions. The Waterford Suir valley railway is perfect for the smaller children and Fota is brilliant for any age - I love to go with my own children - it is such a joy to see the giraffes running free in the fields.The local beaches are just great for relaxing.
