About the home

New 2 Bed apartment, fully equipped including satelite TV (english movie channels & sports channels). Perfect for relaxing by the pools or using as a base for sightseeing or even looking for property. Chelsey Village is on a raised plateau which offers fantastic views of the Mediterranean sea to the north and the five finger mountain range to the south.

Nearby beaches include Acapulco which has lovely sand and loads of facilities including water slides and outdoor pools, Alagadi the famous turtle beach, Lara beach, Vogue beach with its water sports. Kyrenia is a 10 minute drive along the coast with its ancient castle and beautiful old harbour.
It is possible to travel from and to the south of the island to visit Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca or Ayia Napa but don't forget your passport! (subject to car rental terms).

Taxi and car rental can be arranged on request via a recommended taxi firm at a cost of £25 from Larnaca each way, the car hire company will then provide hire from as little as £12 per day.

The Kyrenia region

Kyrenia is situated in Northern Cyprus. Whilst a lot of money has been invested in the area, there are still peasant markets etc. and while parts of the town are modernising, it is also one of the most beautiful on the island. You get the best of both worlds, peace and tranqulity around the pools or the hussel and bussel of the pretty town and harbour in Kyrenia.

There is a beautiful view of the sea as well as being able to see the mountains in their full glory.

It is possible to travel to & from the south of the island to visit Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca or Ayia Napa but don't forget your passport! (subject to car rental terms).
You will find every kind of culinary delight you can think of as well as the delicious traditional Turkish Cypriot food which fills the tables and that's just the Meze's!

The Arapkoy area

Chelsey Village is situated on a raised plateau in the peaceful area of Arapkoy, which traditional been a mainly agricultural settlement and is now an area of serenity and comfort. Due to the elevation of the land, Chelsey Village offers uninterrupted views.To the north is the breathtaking view of the warm Mediterranean sea and to the south, a majestic mountain range and the famous 'Five Finger' mountain. The village is also centrally located between the old, picturesque harbour of Kyrenia just a ten minute drive away to the west and the closest beaches of Acapulco, Alagadi Turtle Beach, Lara Beach and the modern Vogue Beach which is a 5 minute drive away to the east.
Arapkoy village has small supermarkets 5 minutes walk from Chelsey Village and 2 friendly family run restaurants, serving traditional foods & snacks, very reasonably priced.
The main attraction of the North is Kyrenia harbour which is only a 15minute drive away. The picture perfect little town with it's magnificent castle and stunning back drop. The harbour is filled with old wooden boats from past times and chic pavement restaurants and candle lit bars which, make it a must for a visit either during the day or night.

Boat trips and fishing expeditions can also be arranged when you are visiting the harbour - contact the owners for recommendations.

There are many activities for children too - such as - a superb go carting track, scuba diving, horse trecking and para gliding!! Chelsey Village has it's own children's play park.

There are many festivals that can be enjoyed but these are normally celebrated during spring and early summer.

You can fly either to Larnaca (LCA) or Ercan (ECN) via Turkey. Direct flights to Larnaca are available from most airports and by many charter and scheduled airlines. For flights to Ercan contact your Travel Agent, Cyprus Turkish Airlines on 02079304851. For further info. please contact the owner. Transfers from either airport direct to the villa can be arranged on booking, and you should allow £25 from/to Larnaca and £15 for Ercan (this is subject to change ). We can highly recommend a local car hire company who will provide your transfers and vehicle. They supply an excellent service at very low prices. Your choosen car will be delivered to the villa shortly after your arrival. We will supply these details on booking. A daily shuttle service runs from the complex to local beaches/hotels/supermarkets & Kyrenia if you prefer not to hire a car.

“Relaxing holiday, lovely apartment with stunning views.” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment was a perfect haven, everything we needed, lovely and spacious and perfect for relaxing on the balcony after a day exploring the local area. There is plenty to see and do, or simply relax by the pools, we will certainly be back.
