Mountain Air is a luxury villa nestled in the mountains overlooking the sea. In our opinion, you couldn't find a more beautiful setting !!
The villa has been finished to a very high standard with contemporary fittings and many luxuries. It's the little touches that make it special.
Outside, there are landscaped gardens all around the villa with beautiful flowers. There is a large 10 x 5 metre swimming pool surrounded by terracing with plenty of sun loungers & parasols. There is a gas BBQ so you can dine 'al fresco' without having to go out !!
Inside, the villa is open plan and has a fully fitted kitchen, through dining room with a granite dining table, large lounge with leather sofas & open fire. There is a separate cloakroom. For your entertainment, the villa is equipped with a Samsung LCD TV, DVD & satellite channels plus a Sony Hi Fi system.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms all beautifully finished, the master has an en-suite and there is a separate family bathroom. Each bedroom has its own balcony. There are mountain views to the rear and sea views from the front.
This really is a fantastic destination for a relaxing holiday and without exception, all our guests have thoughourly enjoyed their stay!

The Kyrenia District
Kyrenia is is in the north of Cyprus, which is widely regarded as the prettiest side of the island. The harbour is beautiful by day and night! The coastline is flanked by a mountain range, which makes it ideal for walking, cycling or a relaxing beach holiday. There are many places of interest including castles, monasteries, turtle beach and lots more. You will not find high rise developments as in other parts of the mediteranian and North Cyprus if often referred as the 'how the mediteranian used to be'. The climate makes it a great place to visit all year round.
In the villa, you will find details of the activities available along with a guide book to North Cyrpus so you can decide where you wish to visit. We have another book that contains directions to lots of walks in the area, and if you wish to make use of the kitchen or BBQ, why not make us of Rick Stein's Mediteranean cook book?
North Cyprus is outside the euro zone and therefore the exchange rate is more favorable making this an ideal time to visit !!
Arapkoy area
Mountain Air is ideally situated for the Golf Course, 4 Castles, great mountain walks and lots more !!
For the more energetic, you can also try scuba diving, mountain biking, para gliding, go carting as well as lots of different water sports !!
There is a bar and restaurant in the village, which is within walking distance. A short drive will take you to lots of restaurants and bars and at the harbour in Kyrenia you can dine in a romantic setting by night and people watch by day. In the information book we have recommended lots of places to eat, from local cuisine, to Chineese, Indian, & Thai.
How to get there
Fly to Ercan (in the North) or Larnaca (in the South). Ercan is a 20 minute transfer, Larnaca is about 1 hour. Flights to Larnaca are generally cheaper and can be obtained via the internet (e.g. cheapflights.co.uk), by phone (e.g. teletext) or from travel agents. You can also fly to Paphos but the transfer is longer (about 2 hours).
Car hire starts from about £16 per day. Cars can be picked up from Ercan. Cars are also available at Larnaca. We can also arrange transfers by taxi from / to Larnaca, which cost about £45 each way (although this does save car hire costs on arrival / departure dates).
