About the home
The self catering accommodation comprises of a single story, studio dwelling in the
style of a traditional Cypriot village house, with a modern touch.
Although fairly small, the internal area is more than adequate, as most of your time
is spent outside. This is where the roof terrace and patio comes in!
Alfresco dining and socialising is the norm here in Cyprus, and even up here in the
mountains its virtually year round.

Approximately two weeks prior to arrival we will e-mail you with directions and any further information you may need
A Welcome pack is provided on arrival.
Conditions
Rates are in Euro's per day,
A 'Security Deposit' of 180 Euro (350 Euro for long let) must be paid when booking. This is a separate payment to your booking fee and is returnable on completion of your stay subject to our conditions.
Payment for your stay must be made no later than two weeks prior to your arrival.
Payment (Booking & Deposit) is made through 'Paypal' using a credit/debit card or 'Paypal'
account (If you have one) you do not need to have a Paypal account to pay but may be
required to temporarily sign up for one it's free and very secure!
There are no specific change over days. However we will need time in between customers to
prepare the property, So dates may appear to be booked on the end of your stay but you will
NOT be charged for them.
Minimum stay for short let is 7 days in Property. Minimum stay for long let is 21 days.
Departure times- Check in and out at your convenience within reason (to aid us in preparing
the property between guests, please provide proposed arrival/departure times and
confirmation of flights).
The accommodation can be booked all year round subject to availability.
The Limassol region
Limassol is a thriving and busy city located 35-40 Km South East of the Village offering all the usual attractions from Pubs and Clubs to parks and beaches there is also a lot of historical sites nearby
The Arakapas area
On your approach to the village of Arakapas take a moment to stop by the side of the road and breath the clean mountain air with its many scents such as Honey-Suckle, Jasmin, and of course the many varieties of Citrus trees.
Your first point of interest on arrival in the village, is the large open village square and is most notable for the small 11th century church of 'Panagia Iamatiki' across the road from the more modern church of the same name.
There are pilgrimages here every year to witness the 'Weeping Icons'. This is the heart of the village with it's Tavernas, Coffee shops, Village hall, and Community gardens, and where many activities and festivals take place throughout the year.
As you meander up past the Butcher shop, and Supermarket, through winding village streets you will catch glimpses of a variety of
Bougainvilleas, Geraniums, Grape vines, Lemon, Clementine, Orange, Pomegranate, and Walnut trees, through opened gates, and archways.
Locals and expats will greet you with a cheery 'Kalimera' or 'Kalispera' (Good Morning or Good Evening) from their veranda, or garden where they are relaxing or just generally chatting, perhaps over a game of 'Tavli' a version of backgammon, usually accompanied by a glass of 'Commandaria' the local fortified wine that has been around since the days of the crusades in the 12th century, or strong thick sweet coffee.
You will notice a varied selection of new and renovated traditional village homes with stone walls, small windows, and wooden shutters, so typical of Cyprus and in particular this area, as the stone comes from the local river, found down by the Taverna ' Kalamaris' run by Costas and his family.

At the foot hills of the Troodos mountains the village of Arakapas nestles in a valley amongst
the citrus groves of Cyprus, approximately 40Km drive to the North East of Limassol.
Nearest Airport is Larnaca International (LCA) which approximately 90 Kilometres away or Paphos which is 110 Kilometres.
Car Hire is therefore essential and available through many companies at the airports or online. You can also arrange more reasonably priced car hire through Kaimarconsulting.com who manage our property.
