Primrose Cottage is a pretty 3 bedroom terraced cottage which sleeps a maximum of 6 - one double bedroom & two twin bedrooms.
The cottage is less than 2 mins walk from the centre of the pretty fishing village of Appledore with its winding narrow streets, quay, pubs, shops, galleries and pretty white washed cottages.
The cottage has a wonderful garden with a pretty pond (WITH CHILDPROOF COVER!), lawn and patio area - fab for BBQs on summer evenings. The cosy lounge has a log burning stove and leather corner sofa, large TV & stereo with IPOD dock. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you need to cook a good meal and there is a large fridge freezer and microwave.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and occupies the converted roof space and there are wonderful views out across the Estuary from the window. The master bedroom is accessed via a short staircase from the 1st floor landing which does not have a door, once in the bedroom you cannot be seen from the landing below.
Bedroom 2 is at the front of the house and has two twin beds which can be zipped together to make a double. Bedroom 3 is at the back of the house and has a large single bed with a pull out bed underneath.

Appledore is less than 5 minutes drive from one of Britain's best surfing beaches - Westward Ho! where there is a fantastic local surf school.
In addition to wonderful sandy beaches in the area there are some stunning National Trust properties and some really fun adventure parks such as "The Big Sheep" to take the kids to on rainy days.
North Devon is England's Green and Pleasant Land with over 850 square miles of some of Britain's finest coast and countryside.
Appledore area
A few fishing trawlers based in Appledore still manage to earn living from the sea. Though you are more likely to see a visiting yacht moored alongside the most picturesque Quay. Immediately behind which are a maze of narrow alleys , old fishermen's and boatmen's cottages. White washed and decked with flowers in summer. A selection of galleries, craft shops and places to eat, many specialising in seafood.
Appledore is less than five minutes drive from Westward Ho which is one of Britain's best surfing beaches. There are also some other wonderful beaches in the local area such as Instow, Croyde or Woolacombe. Close by there are some pretty National Trust properties and some fun adventure parks for the children. The house is also in easy reach of some of the most beautiful coastal walking paths in the UK
How to get there
- Driving is the best way to reach Primrose Cottage, The house is about 46 miles from the M5 motorway.
There is some free parking on the street outside the house but at peak times this may be busy and you will need to park in the Odun Street car park which is located directly behind the house (it is pay and display and you can buy daily or weekly tickets as needed).
