About the home

Stag cottage is a beautiful property located in the village of Dufton. Inside the sandstone walls lies a well equipped and stylishly designed interior. The cottage has two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one with a
double bed, another with a set of twin beds. The kitchen comes with a microwave, a ceramic hob and electric oven, as well as a fridge. From the kitchen window, there is a lovely view of the spacious back garden. The lounge and dining area features a pair of cosy sofas, a large dining table, a TV, DVD player and radio. To the exterior of the cottage there is a manicured lawn, with outdoor seating and plenty of space for parking.

The Cumbria/Lake District region

The northern and western lakes have miles of untouched natural rugged beauty and rural villages as well as being home to the historic northern lakes town of Keswick with its many shops, pubs and restaurants; providing a great holiday base.
Other areas to discover include the Eden Valley, Cartmel peninsula, south east Cumbria and the Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall area; all equally beautiful and very handy for day trips into the lakes.

The Appleby in Westmorland / Dufton area

The village of Dufton in Eden Valley is a well loved spot for nature enthusiasts, as it lies so close to the Pennines and the Lake District. The village features a charming tea room, which is a popular choice with both visitors and locals for afternoon refreshments. A trip to the local church is a must, as this old building is beautifully designed. There is also a cosy little pub in the village, perfect for a tipple in the evening. With plenty of scenic trails skirting the village, visitors here will be in no shortage of stunning scenery and fun days out.
