Villa Helidoni, a luxurious villa in the exclusive Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort, is the perfect base from which to explore the holiday island of Cyprus.
The three-storey villa is tastefully furnished throughout, with marble floors and high-quality wood furniture. It accommodates up to 8 guests in 2 double and 2 twin rooms, making it perfect for a family trip or for groups of friends.All four bedrooms offer a high level of comfort, and the two master bedrooms also offer sea views and private balconies. Villa Helidoni also boasts a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan lounge and dining area with seating for up to 8 people. For evenings in or a break from the midday sun, entertainment options include a complementary selection of games, books and DVDs. The villa is fully air-conditioned and heated throughout for year-round comfort.
Moving outside, the villa has 3 balconies, a private roof top terrace, a shady barbecue area and large patio area around the private pool. The garden is terraced with grass areas, mature trees and flowering shrubs. Patio furniture for 8 to dine outside and loungers for the pool side are provided.

The Paphos District
Popular with holidaymakers for its ideal climate and sandy beaches, Cyprus is nevertheless much more than just another sunny island in the Mediterranean. Though the language and culture in the south of the island are both primarily Greek, the island's proximity to Africa and Asia means that it also has an exotic hint of the East.
Cyprus has one of the most favourable climates in Europe, with sunshine for on average 11 out of 12 months of the year and summer temperatures consistently above 30 degrees Celcius! Make sure you pack your swimsuit, sunglasses and some suncream, and you're guaranteed a great holiday here with us. What is more, on this relatively small island you're never far from a beach: the nearest pebble beach to our property is just 2km away, while the small but lively resort of Pissouri, with water sports and a sandy beach, is ten minutes away. If you want to be at the centre of all the tourist action, then the two largest resorts on Cyprus's south coast, Paphos and Limassol, are just 20 and 30 minutes away respectively.
However, don't let the sun, sea and sand distract you from Cyprus's other attractions! The island is also a great destination out of season, and its balmy Mediterranean climate means that you are assured of a pleasant experience whenever you choose to come. The Troodos Mountains are just 1 hour's drive from our property and provide wonderful walking and cycling in spring and summer and skiing pistes with good skiing conditions from January to March.
Aphrodite Hills / Kouklia area
Whether you're new to golf or you reckon you could give Tiger Woods a run for his money, this is an ideal golfing destination. Aphrodite Hills golf course is outstanding. Designed by Cabell Robinson (responsible for Valderrama among others) with numerous different tees it provides a fair test for pros and club golfers alike. In the next valley is the Secret Valley golf course which - though less prestigious - is a good scenic course with a lovely clubhouse.
This is also an excellent destination for aficionados of other sports. The tennis academy on site with 4 floodlit courts provides courses for all levels and will arrange games with players of similar levels, while there are horse riding trails and lessons for all levels of experience just 15 minutes up the valley from the resort. If all this sounds a bit too tiring, then never fear! The Aphrodite Hills Spa is beautiful and was recently voted best spa in the Eastern Med.
On site in the Aphrodite village centre, within walking distance of the villa, is an excellent mini market including bakery, a number of shops, some good reasonably priced restaurants, a sports bar and the 5 star hotel which itself has a number of highly recommended restaurants.
There is also the "Rainbow Kids Club" open 5 days or 7 days a week depending on season for ages 3 to 12 and a well equipped area exclusively for teenagers with disco, pool and table football, computer games and internet access.
How to get there
The most convenient way to get to us from the UK is by flying to Paphos airport. This international airport is served by a range of budget carriers including Easyjet and Thomson Flights. From Paphos airport it is just a 15 minute drive to our property.
Alternatively, you can fly to Larnaca airport, which is 75 minutes away from the property.
We advise that for maximum convenience you hire a car for your stay here in Cyprus. You can do this at Larnaca or Paphos airport when you arrive.
