Home description

Harubi Villa, named after the Greek term for Carob pods, sits within the magnificent and award-winning, five-star, golf resort of Aphrodite Hills. The property itself is part of the Hestiades Greens complex that was completed in 2006. The villa is only a few minutes walk from the Village Square at the heart of Aphrodite Hills.

What sets this villa apart from others is its 65 m2 first-floor terrace, from which there is a stunning vista over the golf course, and views to the Troodos mountains to the east, and the deep blue Mediterranean in the west. The terrace provides an ideal setting to soak up some Cypriot sun, to watch the golfers – good and bad, or to dine under the stars. From the garden, one can sit and enjoy the serene view across the verdant fairways, interspersed with evergreen Carob trees.

The villa has been furnished to a very high standard, to help ensure you have a luxurious and comfortable stay. The spacious living/dining area opens on to a beautiful veranda and garden with your own private pool (heated, if necessary). The two bedrooms (one double and en-suite, and one twin) can also open on to the garden.

The Paphos District

The Paphos district is one of the greenest and most varied areas of Cyprus. The town itself is only 20 minutes from Aphrodite Hills. A great selection of cafes and restaurants can be found down by the charming harbour side. The promenade leads to the medieval fort that overlooks the sea front.

Next to the fort is the entrance to the Paphos Archaeological Park which contains some of the finest mosaics to be found in the Eastern Mediterranean. Nearby is the equally fascinating ‘Tombs of the Kings’, which date from the 4th century BC. In the hills overlooking Paphos can be found the Agios Neophytos monastery, which was founded in the 12th Century by a Cypriot hermit.

The Akamas peninsula, to the north of Paphos, is a beautiful and largely unspoilt area definitely worth a visit. You could start your visit at the stunning Avakas Gorge, and then continue on to the scenic Lara Bay. This protected beach is where the endangered Loggerhead turtles take refuge to nest. Heading towards the mountains, one can visit a number of delightful villages, such as Akourdalia, Kathikas, Letympou, Goudi, and Kritou Tera, where it’s possible to experience some authentic local cuisine.

The Coral Bay area provides some of the best beaches on the western side of the island. Located around 8km west of Paphos town, it is a perfect area for families. Another good family beach is ‘Sodap’ beach, by the old winery in Kato Paphos.

Paphos International Airport is only fifteen minutes drive away. There is a good number of companies flying there like: British Airways, Cyprus Airways, Easyjet, Flythomascook and Thomson Fly. You could rent a car at the airport or get a taxi for around 10 Euros. Do check the airport's official website, it has a lot of useful information.

If you are driving, on leaving the airport, take the highway towards Limassol. Look out for the turning for Aphrodite Hills. On entering Aphrodite Hills go up to the roundabout where you turn right. After about 100 meters turn left through the main gate of Hestiades Greens and then immediatelly right. You will see Harubi villa (no. 26) at the end of the driveway.

Larnaca International Airport is Cyprus main airport. There are more flights to Larnaca. This airport is about 1hr and 15 minutes drive away.
