Latest changes: in November 2014 we've completely replaced all the windows and doors, installing top quality thermally insulated, double glazing to ensure the villa is usable all year round! Keep cool in summer and warm in the cooler winter evenings (heating and air conditioning is available in all rooms). We've also given a makeover to all the main rooms, refreshing the soft furnishings and installing a beautiful new extending walnut dining table.
Luxury, spacious 3 bed villa in superb location within Adonis Village at the 5 star Aphrodite Hills resort, Paphos. The villa is located on the edge of the ravine, and it is only 5 minutes walk to the main resort facilities such as the restaurants, bars, golf, tennis and spa. Many other villages in the resort involve a long walk or a drive to get to the facilities. The communal pool is only 30 seconds away, but completely hidden and child-safe as it is up a flight of steps.
The villa ideal for couples, families or groups. The three bedrooms are spacious - two doubles (with king size beds) and one twin. Two of the bedrooms can easily accommodate an extra bed or cot, and two of the bedrooms have direct access to the terrace. We can provide up to 2 extra folding beds and/or a travel cot and stair gate at no extra charge. A kids 'totseat' portable highchair is also available.
On the ground floor, the spacious living/dining room opens directly onto a large terrace with an outdoor table, sofa, chairs and gas barbecue. There is a second terrace (with sun loungers) on the lower floor, with steps down to a third terrace which leads onto a small garden planted with mature shubs. There are fantastic views over the ravine and down to the Mediterranean sea.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - plenty of crockery, utensils etc.
Wifi is available within the villa at a small extra charge. The villa boasts a Sony Bravia internet enabled Smart TV with international channels including Sky Sports, an Apple TV (which allows you to view your iTunes content and to view content from your iPhone/iPod/iPad), and Android TV which streams UK Freeview channels and a Sony wireless Bluetooth speaker (which allows you to listen to music content from your mobile or internet device).

The Paphos District
Just a 15 minute drive from Paphos International Airport, Aphrodite Hills is situated next to the hillside village of Kouklia, just off the old B6 Paphos to Limassol coast road. The beautifully picturesque Rock of Aphrodite is a mere couple of minutes away - the coastal scenery is spectacular.
The climate in Cyprus is sunny all year round. Summers are long, hot and dry... generally it is wall to wall sunshine, guaranteed. October remains very warm - temperatures are commonly in the mid to high twenties right up until the end of the month. Even in winter (December through January) there is still plenty of sunshine and daytime temperatures are around 18-21.
Flying time is around 4.5 hours from the UK.
Kouklia Village - just a 5 minute drive away. A pretty village with plenty of reasonably priced and excellent quality local tavernas. Check out the reviews on TripAdvisor and plan a visit. Taxis can be easily booked from the resort.
Pissouri Bay, about 10 minutes drive has a great sandy blue flag beach, with every watersport imaginable. There is also a great selection of restaurants... everything from local fare to fish, to pizza and even lebanese! Our favourite is Liminaki, right by the entrance to the beach.
Mandria - about 10 mins drive, and plenty more restaurants including the well known (and considered best locally - we agree) fish & chips.
Paphos town - about 25 mins drive. Visit Paphos Fort, the World Heritage site of Tombs of the Kings, stroll along the seafront, or go shopping in the market or sample the local coffee in the Old Town. You'll also find major supermarkets, cinemas (english-speaking), bowling and the Aphrodite Waterpark here.
Limassol - about 45 minutes drive. Visit the island's largest Waterpark for a great day out with the kids. You can pre-book your tickets from the golf clubhouse at the resort.

"Second Stay at Luxury Villa - We Will Return Again"
Our second time back at this lovely villa in the Aphrodite Hills Resort. It is a handy 15 mins drive from Paphos airport. The villa comes with access to a private swimming pool shared with a few other villas - during our visit, there were very few people using the pool and sometimes we had it completely to ourselves. The resort has a hotel, several individual restaurants, a supermarket, a pub, a golf course, tennis courts, a fitness studio, gym and spa - all within a 5 - 10 min walk of the villa. The service was very good again - there was a welcome pack provided for our arrival (milk, bread, butter, a bottle of wine etc) and tea, coffee and other drinks available for us. The friendly Karl is available to answer questions and help out if you need a hand with any of the equipment in the villa. The amenities are excellent - this time I took a yoga class & tried a couple of spa treatments. I would recommend the class & the spa treatments. It is worth knowing that if you book a spa treatment, you have free access to the spa's sun terrace, the infinity pool, steam room, sauna etc for the rest of the day - so it's worth taking your swimming gear if you go to the spa. We went out to eat a few times, retuning to Kouklia (we enjoyed lunch at Aspris' Taverna again), Mandria and Pissouri Bay. We also ate at the Italian restaurant and the kebab place on the resort and enjoyed both. Things we like best: - the villa is easy to reach from the airport. We were in the villa 45 mins after our plane had landed in Cyprus (& that included picking up checked-in bags & our hire car). - the villa is very well equipped - there's everything you can think of that you might need (a few examples: local guide books & maps, beach towels, tennis racquets, a library of paperbacks, an honesty bar). - the villa balcony overlooking the peaceful valley - (the balcony gets the sun from early morning to about 2pm ish in May). - it is easy to self cater if you want to. The villa kitchen is fully equipped and local supermarkets have very good fresh produce. - very easy access to the pool from the villa. We will no doubt be back in the future.
