Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom ground floor apartment on Helios Heights is luxurious and spacious with its own garden and terraces offering all day sun and shade, whichever is preferred. Perfect for couples, families and sports enthusiasts who are looking for a relaxing holiday with 5-star resort facilities on the doorstep. It is fully furnished to a high standard and has everything our guests need to make their holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Helios Heights has three swimming pools and a paddling pool for the exclusive use of its residents.
The resort also has a stunning beach club approx. 10 minutes drive away. The sandy, child-friendly beach offers a luxury bar and restaurant facilities as well as sunbeds, umbrellas and towels (charges apply). A shuttle bus service is available from/to the Intercontinental Hotel at frequent intervals.

The Paphos District
Cyprus is really at the crossroads of Europe and the Middle East; culturally European yet geographically Asian/Middle Eastern. It enjoys a climate of abundant sunshine (approx. 340 days a year) with long dry summers and mild winters separated by short spring and autumn seasons.
Whilst Cyprus evokes images of sun and sand to many, few realise that you can ski in the Troodos Mountains in the morning and swim in the sea in the afternoon. The tranquil valleys of the Troodos Mountains shelter lovely Byzantine monasteries and churches and lovely villages.
The vibrant town of Paphos is 20-30 minutes by car. Bars and restaurants line its busy harbour front. Paphos also has many cultural activities including its famous mosaics and the Tomb of Kings. There is a very good daily market in Paphos Town and many shops.

Aphrodite Hills / Helios Heights area
Our apartment is part of the multi-award winning Aphrodite Hills development acknowledged as being one of the most exclusive golf, tennis and leisure complexes in the Eastern Mediterranean. Our guests can enjoy world-class golf on the superb 18 hole golf course, golf academy, competition standard tennis courts, excellent fitness facilities and the sophisticated Retreat spa with its Greco-Roman thermae.
At the heart of the resort is the lively village centre with its bars, restaurants, shops, an amphitheatre for entertainment and a traditional wedding chapel – the perfect setting for romantic weddings. In addition there are further facilities, including restaurants and bars, in the 5-star Aphrodite Hills Intercontinental hotel.
Aphrodite Hills is very sympathetically developed with respect for the beautiful natural environment and extends over two plateaux standing either side of the Randi Gorge, a natural ravine and nature reserve.
As well as the golf course on site (5 mins walk from our apartment), Secret Valley Golf Course, which is less demanding and in a wonderful natural setting, is less than 5 minutes drive away on the other side of the gorge.
Aphrodite’s Rock: On the coast road about a mile from the entrance to Aphrodite Hills. There is a lovely cliff walk; starts opposite entrance.
Pissouri Village: About 3 miles along the coast road (or motorway). Wonderful Cypriot village with a town square; old men playing backgammon and just watching the world go by. In fact, it’s a great place for you to do that. During the summer months there are lots of activities in the village – even a Cyprus night every Wednesday which mainly Greek Cypriots attend! There are bars and excellent restaurants. Also village shops including a butcher, baker, gift shop and a bank.
Pissouri Beach: This is the nearest ‘tourist’ beach but it is still quiet. And you can drive right up to the beach at the eastern end. There are sunbeds and umbrellas (all payable); parascending; jetskis - in fact, everything you would expect to find at a beach resort. There are a number of bars and restaurants.
Kouklia: Nearest village but very small and very old! It was the capital of Cyprus centuries ago. Aphrodite’s temple is here. A few restaurants and bars.
How to get there
Our apartment is approx. 10 minutes from Paphos Airport; and approx. 75 mins from Larnaca Airport. All the main charter companies fly to these airports. Also scheduled flights with Cyprus Airways, BA and Monarch. We can arrange personal airport pick-ups from Paphos and Larnaca. Although local taxis are available, on 'charter days and weekends', the queues can be long. We can also arrange car hire - for your whole holiday or for just a few days. Alternatively, car hire is available on site or you can book in the UK.

Further details
A full cleaning service is supplied on arrival and departure. For more than one week rentals, linen will be changed and the apartment cleaned at the end of your first and any subsequent weeks. If you should wish to have extra cleaning/linen changes, this can be arranged but there will be an extra cost. We can also arrange airport pick up/drop offs; hire car and a welcome pack. Cot, high chair etc. can be arranged. The changeover day is flexible.

Full payment is due 8 weeks before departure Loss/breakage deposit of £200 required, refundable within two weeks of your departure from our property in Cyprus subject to satisfactory inspection.
