The apartment on the second floor of a little building, it's about 50 square-meters, has a living room with TV, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, oven, gas stove and radio) one double bedroom, one bathroom (with window and shower and bath), 2 habitable balconies awnings and a little hallway where the washing-machine is located; there are also AIR CONDITIONIG for summer time and HEATING SYSTEM for winter. WI-FI network is available all year long!

However, the house is angular and sunny, facing south/ovest: in the morning the sun is on the living room, and in the afternoon, until sunset, is on the bedroom/bathroom.

The living room has a sofa bed (a double bed) and in the case of a fifth person, there is a single folding bed;

Will also be available to guests two bikes, with which you can reach Anzio city center (reachable also by foot with a good walk, it's just 2 km, and about 2.7 km to the charatteristic main port)

The Lazio region

Anzio si trova nell'Agro Romano, a 58 chilometri a sud di Roma, ed a 26 chilometri ad ovest da Latina.

Il centro della città si sviluppa sull'omonimo promontorio, proteso sul Mar Tirreno.

Il clima è tipicamente mediteranneo e rappresenta una ambita località balneare in quanto Anzio ha ricevuto per la quarta volta consecutiva, la bandiera blu, l'unica ad essere stata premiata nella provincia di Roma.

Situata di fronte al parco naturale di Tor Caldara, anzio vanta spiagge spettacolari di sabbia dorata in cui potrete divertirvi e fare bagni in un mare calmo e trasparente, ideale per gli amanti delle immersioni e surf;

Tra le sue spiagge annoveriamo quella della Grotta di Nerone, dove in un paesaggio mozzafiato si possono ammirare resti archeologici e scolgiere bagnate da acque cristalline. Tor caldara, che prende il nome dalla riserva naturale dove si trova, uno spazio di sabbia abbondante che si sviluppa in dune, ricca di diverse varietá di pesci, perfetta per nuotare. La spiaggia del Lido dei Gigli, anch'essa ad Anzio è una spiaggia di sabbia dorata circondata da dune e vegetazione mediterranea.

Anzio è conosciuta internazionalmente per essere stata teatro di una delle più celebri azioni della seconda guerra mondiale, lo sbarco che da lei prende il nome. Il giorno 22 gennaio 1944 gli eserciti alleati iniziarono a sbarcare su un'ampia fascia costiera.

Nell'antichità Antium (le attuali Anzio e Nettuno) fu per un lungo periodo capitale della popolazione dei Volsci, finché non venne assorbita nello stato romano.

Numerosi i resti di ville romane lungo tutta la costa: opere d'arte come la La Fanciulla di Anzio, Il Gladiatore Borghese, oggi al Louvre, e l'Apollo del Belvedere, conservato in Vaticano, furono tutte rinvenute in dimore patrizie dell'antica Antium.
