Sunshine Village, an estate of a thousand hectares, is situated in the Valdarno, one of the most beautiful and historically important areas of Tuscany. The estate covers an area situated at 400 metres of altitude up to 900 metres on the crest of the Pratomagno mountains. The residential part, a convent dating back to the late XVII century and subsequently transformed into a farm, is surrounded by extensive olive groves, bordering on woodlands, also part of the property, characterized by the presence of water springs and varied flora and fauna. Three types of landscape exist on the estate: in the lower area the agricultural land with terraced olive groves, then the woodland populated by local fauna and in the highest part the mountains. All the living units, are situated around the square, once centre of the old village and today a meeting place for the guests. The apartments of the village have been built from the pre-existing productive and living structures overlooking the square. The apartments are furnished with the antique family furniture, carefully combined with designer elements.

This two storey residence is part of one of the oldest houses of the SUNSHINE VILLAGE.

About this location

The Tuscany region

Italy is a wonderful country that combines stunningly landscape with unique culture. From it's modern cities to its classic

countryside there is such a variety of wondrous things to see and do. Italy's unique culture stems from its history of being many individual states/provinces.

The countries shape means that the coast is easily accessible from practically anywhere in the country.

Antria

There are many fantastic things to do in the

local area. As well as all the normal tourist activities available there is a plethora of historical churches/monasteries that are well worth a visit. A trip here

would not be complete without sampling some of the delicious local food and, of course, the wine.
