Home description

One of the most spacious and best positioned apartments in the area, Villa Palladio is on a hill between the twin towns of Antibes and Juan-Les-Pins. Palladio is beautifully furnished to the highest standards, and has proved to be the perfect luxury holiday heaven for our guests, from honeymoon couples, to family groups of up to 8 in comfort and style. We are toddler friendly too.

Many of our guests consider Villa Paladio their home away from home and we hope you will feel the same way.

This is no typical rental apartment, it is our home too! We have stunning sea views over Golfe Juan to the Cannes Islands and the Esterel mountains, to the Alps above Grasse, and over the Med towards Nice, we are close enough to the sandy beaches for swimming, marinas and numerous restaurants to walk or cycle, and just far enough away to be peaceful. The terraces face south, west, and east, you will have the sun all day and sunset barbeques are stunning!

Cannes, Nice, MonteCarlo, Grasse, St Tropez and the Southern Alps are all at your doorstep, with bikes at your disposal for a spin around beautiful Cap D'Antibes. Enjoy!

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The Cote d'Azur , particularly the area around Cap d'Antibes, is legendary for its sunshine azur blue seas, and golden beaches .
If you take an area within 1 hour of Villa Palladio there is more to see and visit than is possible within a few months let alone a week or two! From St Tropez to Monaco the coast is breathtakingly beautiful and boasts an incredible variety of historic towns and ports, beaches, museums, gastronomic delights, and of course shopping!
In the mountains just a few miles inland are gorges,including the breathtaking Gorge de Verdon, hilltop fortified villages and some lovely drives reminiscent of Bond films!

Antibes area

At the heart of the Cote d'Azur, the two towns of Antibes and Juan-Les-Pins merge into one, yet they retain their own unique character and charm, both are an easy walk from Villa Palladio.
Antibes is an old fortified town with cobbled streets, a wonderful Provencal market and Port Vauban with its quayside and luxury Yachts. The narrow streets are crammed with an endless variety of restaurants and cafes, and the newly refurbished Picasso museum .
To the west on the other side of beautiful Cap d'Antibes, Juan-Les-Pins compliments Antibes perfectly. Chic restaurants line the golden south-west facing beaches with their tempting sun-loungers. Here you can swim, waterski, and relax before exploring the fascinating selection of boutiques and shops.You can also take aboat trip to th lovely Cannes islands, and visit the famous castle where the man in the iron mask was imprisoned. All this in walking distance from Villa Palladio.

Palladio is no ordinary apartment. Modern paintings ,luxurious furnishings,marble tables,gleaming modern bathrooms, crisp cotton sheets, big bath towels,atmospheric lighting,masses of space, including a second living area on the mezzanine level with TV DVD.There is a music centre, i-pod compatable and all the facilities you need, plus glorious sunlight from our triple aspect penthouse. Villa Palladio is set in a private garden. Our Penthouse Apartment is on the 3rd (top) floor ,with glorious views over sea and mountains, and huge double-aspect balconies giving all day sunshine and the most beautiful sunsets to go with your evening drinks and barbecue! There is a lock-up garage at your disposal should you have a car. There is roadside parking too. The bikes and beach-chairs, mats, parasols and beach games etc are kept in the garage.

Conditions

No animals are allowed and Palladio is a no smoking zone !
A non-re-fundable 25% deposit is payable on booking, the balance is payable 6 weeks before the rental period.(8 weeks for periods over 2 weeks)
We ask for a fully re-fundable deposit of £ 500 to cover any damage.

There will be a bottle of Champagne to welcome you and set the scene for your special holiday, along with some basic provisions, plus washing powders etc.

All cleaning and laundry costs of bed linen plus bath and beach-towels is included in the rental cost.

Check-in time is between 3.30 and 8.30 pm and guests are asked to depart by 10am to allow time for preparation for the next guests. It is always possible to store luggage before check-in or after departure time if this is needed.

A 25% deposit is payable on booking, the balance payable six weeks before rental period. (8 weeks for periods of over 2 weeks) We ask for a fully refundable £500 deposit to cover any damages or breakages.

We were a large family of seven who spent 2 weeks in Villa Palladio.

And we had a an unforgetable summer holiday in 2008, thanks to Villa Palladio and the owners. Everything was so velorganized, not only the apartment in it self, but the whole package.Before we came, we got maps of the town and emails of different things to do from sent to us from the owners.

There was also a personal note left for us all the first day we came, and champagne in the fridge. A perfect start on a perfect holiday, and it really was!

And the apartment really has everything. From CDs, books, DVDs, a large scrapbook where different restaurants and things to do is listed up by the owners to bikes/helmets, beachgames and so on.

I woud truly recommend this apartment to everyone who considers going to Juan les Pins.
Recommended for: Sightseeing, Families , Teenagers, Girls Getaway, Tourists with or without out a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway, Age 55+.

We spent Christmas 2008 at this apartment and was just a perfect home from home. Beautifully appointed and comfortable for 6 adults, everything you could need was provided - even to bikes and shopping trolley, music CDs and DVDs. No need for a car as is walking distance to supermarket, shops, bars & restaurants. Trains and buses easy to use to go further afield eg Cannes,Nice, Grasse. Excellent service from both the owners and local contact, can't recommend highly enough. Does not feel like a rental property it really is like walking into someone's home and the view from the terrace at sunset is amazing.
Recommended for: Sightseeing, Tourists with-without a Car, Romantic Getaway



"Wonderful apartment. So good it was difficult to make yourself go out. We did venture to Monaco which was a different world. Antibes was lovely, especially all of the narrow streets and sense of history. "Apartment is great, everything has been thought of. Also great area for everyone from teen clubbing through to art and culture. "What a wonderful apartment! Particularly loved sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down. We're ashamed to say we made no use of the bicycles-it was a perfectly lazy week-but we'll be back and we will use them then!
