The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The Cote d'Azur is famous for its outstanding climate, beaches, and natural beauties. Numerous good restaurants for every budget. Year-round sunshine. Even in Winter months one can lunch outdoors by the sea on most days. There are a number of medieval villages to visit and enjoy . Twenty minutes to Cannes, Nice, and St. Paul de Vence. Forty minutes to Monaco. One hour to Italy. Markets every day in Antibes and nearby towns.
There is skiing at a half dozen ski areas within a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive. Ski buses to several resorts leave each day two minutes from the apartment.


Antibes / Vieille Ville area

There is a daily Provencal farmers market in Antibes; fish, meat, and produce, flowers, homemade condiments. There are also general markets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Picasso museum is three minutes walk. There are other local museums and many large museums in Nice. Annual attractions include the Cannes Film Festival, and the Monaco Grand Prix. There are many other festivals whose details are available from local tourist offices.


How to get there

Inexpensive flights on Easyjet, BMI, and even BA to Nice airport. Twelve miles or twenty minutes to Antibes. Direct train and buses as well as rental car.

There is plenty of free street parking, but we make our nearby garage available. Bedrooms are on a quiet interior courtyard.
We arrange through our local agent to handle any questions. She will also have beds made before arrival. A 300 euro deposit is payable on arrival which will be returned minus 110 euros for cleaning and laundry charges assuming the property is left undamaged and all linens returned.


Conditions

The flat is on the fourth level with a lift. There is a cot for a baby or small child.
