Four pairs of patio doors provide a wonderful level of natural light to this tastefully and elegantly furnished apartment which enjoys 2 fully furnished terraces, the larger one south facing with some stunning views including some of the sea.

Two bedrooms, 1 en suite bathroom plus 1 main bathroom, 1 living/dining room, 1 fully equipped kitchen, accessed through an archway, completes the accommodation of this delightfully bright holiday apartment. Add to this the airconditioning which is separately controlled in each room and you have all you could want on the doorstep of Juan Les Pins.

Enjoy the beach or the endless walks around Juan Les Pins, Cap d'Antibes, or the historic town of Antibes which is just a 25 minute walk away or walk the other way along the coast to Golfe Juan. Cannes is a 15 minute bus trip or 9 min train journey away. Enjoy a day trip to Nice , Monte Carlo, Port Grimaud or St Tropez.. Go for a swim down at the beach and dry off in the luxuriously comfortable sun loungers on the apartment's main south terrace or get away with a chilled beer on your own to read in the lounger on the north terrace. Perhaps take a day trip to the ski resort of Isola 2000 as the scenery alone is worth the trip even if you don't ski. Buses (€1 fare!) run every morning from Nice Bus and Train stations and from the Airport and there are return buses each evening.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The warm Mediterranean waters and white sandy beaches with the rugged backdrop of the Alps provide the main physical attraction for the holiday visitor to the French Riviera, famous for its beautiful views along the coast, which can be enjoyed by car or by using the excellent train service.

Apart from its many water sports, the region is a golfer’s paradise, with many courses, including The Royal Mougins, Riviera Golf at Mandelieu, Royal Mandelieu, Valescure/St. Raphael and Opio/Valbonne. Petanques (boules), tennis and cycling are also popular and well-catered-for.

Juan Les Pins is located centrally on this coastline making it a very obvious springboard for visiting Monaco, Nice, Cannes with its picturesque villagesof Mougins (gastronomic heart of the Côte d’Azur), Grasse (famous for its world-class perfumeries) and Vallauris (known for its pottery). The beautiful white sandy beaches of Juan Les Pins and Antibes are the first sandy beaches you come to travelling from Nice.

Antibes / Juan les Pins area

Juan-les-Pins with its white sandy beaches and a vibrant nightlife is famous for its Jazz Festival in July and its August season of music with fireworks displays. There are many other festivals throughout the year.

Juan-les-Pins is a short walk away from the historic town of Antibes, home of the largest private yacht marina in Europe which is situated next to the walled old town, with its many pavement cafés, restaurants, churches, art galleries and shops; a delight to explore. Here you will also find Renoir’s home and, situated in the Château Grimaldi, the Picasso museum.

Antibes was founded in the fifth century B.C. and the archaeological sites and Fort Carre will appeal to all with an interest in history. Just a 15 minute bus journey and a 9 minutes train journey from Cannes, Juan Les Pins is a relatively inexpensive base for attending Cannes numerous festivals or conferences including the annual Cannes Film Festival.

How to get there

Easy Jet, Ryanair, British Airways and Airlingus are just 4 of numerous airlines which fly into Nice. Nice airport is a 30-40 minute drive by car, on either the coast road or on the Autoroute A8. The airport is on the west edge of Nice (i.e. the Juan Les Pins side) so you do not have to drive through Nice to get to Juan Les Pins. All the usual car hire companies operate from Nice although car hire is not essential.

Juan Les Pins is also accessible by bus and an excellent train service. The bus drops you off 5 minutes from the apartment, the train station in Juan Les Pins is a 10 minute walk to the apartment . However, there is also a free local bus which runs from the station to the apartment every 15 minutes. The public transport links run all the way along the coast from St Tropez, St Raphael, Cannes, Juan Les Pins, Antibes, Nice, to Monaco and the Italian border. There are also bus services inland, to Biot village, Valbonne, St. Paul etc. They are good value, easy to use and frequent.

We can arrange for an English speaking driver with a 7 seater Renault Espace to pick you up from, or drop you back to Nice Airport for a one way cost of €50 which is cheaper than the normal taxi fare for that journey.

If you have an irish SKYcard at home you can bring it with you and enjoy all your subscription channels as well. Please note there are no French language TV channels available in this apartment.

Conditions

A 25% initial payment along with the completion and signing of a "Terms and conditions and booking form" secures a booking with the remaining 75% plus a refundable security deposit of €500 due 8 weeks before arrival. Bookings made now for 2010 (at 2009 prices) may be cancelled without penalty up to December 1, 2009 and all amounts paid will be refunded in full. The rentals include the cost of end of stay cleaning, bed linen, hand and bath towels, bath mats and kitchen T-towels. Extra cleaning and linen changes can be provided if required for an additional charge payable locally. A user manual is available in the apartment which details where everything is and how it works and some information on local interests. It also contains contact information of the owners and the local agent along with emergency numbers. For those who do not want to spend their holiday reading the manual, there is a 1 page bullet point summary at the beginning.
