This purpose built, well equipped sunny apartment is located a few minutes walk from the centre of Antibes with its lovely beaches and harbour. The apartment has a south west facing terrace with dining furniture ideal for eating alfresco.
Antibes is one of the oldest towns on the Cote d'Azur and accommodates the Picasso museum amongst others. Wondering amongst the small narrow streets of the old town is a delight, with many small shops hidden away waiting to be discovered.There many wonderful restaurants and bars to cover all budgets and tastes.The interesting old town has a daily provencal market which is a must for local produce. The town of Antibes with its wonderful microclimate makes it ideal for out of season breaks as well as longer summer holidays. The local train and bus stations are only a few minutes walk away making it not necessary to hire a car during your stay, as the local service is inexpensive and frequent up and down the coast.

The famous coastline of the Côte d’Azur is a long succession of elegant resorts with “mega” yacht filled harbours at Monaco, Antibes, Cannes and St Tropez, and many more. With the pre-Alpes tumbling down to meet the sea, the coastal and inland scenery is quite amazing; from cornice hemmed coastlines, through gorges, to ski resorts above. Walled villages perched on rocky outcrops are scattered all around rise above the sea , where they were built for safety in the Middle Ages. Some famous, like St Paul de Vence, others yet to be discovered by the tourists.
The region hosts many international events including the Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film festival, both every May. In July and August there are truly magnificent firework displays set to music , and held at almost every resort along the coast, plus a series of music events including the Nice and Juan les Pins Jazz festivals with many international artists performing.
Nightlife along the Côte d’Azur is second to none in lively resorts such as Antibes and Juan les Pins; there are casinos at most large towns and restaurants at every street corner to match people’s tastes and budget.
There are some excellent lakes for sporting activities and fishing as well as spectacular gorges, mountains and rivers.
The Mediterranean climate is ideal for year round tourism with dry hot summers and mild winters.
The Antibes / Antibes Centre Ville area
Antibes has several lovely beaches and restaurants abound and is lively all year round. Marineland is one train stop away and a must visit for all ages. Nice & Juan les Pins are also well known for their Jazz festivals in early summer. Antibes hosts the famous Picasso Museum in the Château Grimaldi. In the old walled town.
there is a daily covered fruit and vegetable market and small lanes with Provençal shops.
The apartment would also be an ideal base for the Grand Prix in Monaco, or any of the many festivals in Cannes
