This brand new (Dec 2010) beautifully appointed one bedroom apartment (with distant views of the foothills of the Alps) is furnished and fitted to an exceptionally high standard throughout with contemporary furniture and accessories and is within an easy walk to the Old Town, sandy beaches and public transport.
The professionally designed kitchen is equipped and fitted to a superior standard and includes a large fridge/freezer, a Siemens hob, microwave/oven, extractor fan and a washing machine.
The lounge includes a modern and comfortable sofa (which may be converted into a sofa bed) a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a top of the range stereo system.
A generous size table with four chairs is provided in the dining area.
The bedroom includes floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes, two single beds ( which can be made as a double bed), bedside units with lighting and a good size set of drawers.
In the fully tiled bathroom are a full size bath with an overhead shower, vanity unit with a wash basin and a heated towel rail. There is a separately housed W.C. with a second wash hand basin.
Additional storage space is available in the lounge and the hallway.
The apartment has an air cooling ventilation system installed in the bedroom and in the open-plan lounge.
The apartment is provided with remote control electric window shutters, internet/WiFi and a parking place at the residency (to be booked in advance) within the rental price - although a car is not required due to the excellent location.

The spacious balcony which looks out towards the Alps is furnished with a good size dining table, four chairs, two sun loungers and exterior lighting.
There is also a slight view of the sea from the balcony.
An underground parking place ( included in the rental price) is available at the residence which will need to be booked in advance
All guests will be met on arrival and departure by a resident British couple who are on hand throughout your stay.
Arrival time is from 16.00 hours and departure time is by 10.00am - however when possible we will try to offer flexibility on these times which would need to be agreed in advance. - At the very least, we are more than happy to keep your luggage secure in the meantime.
We always try to offer flexibility with Arrival and Departure days (when possible) including midweek.
Shorter breaks will be considered (usually a minimum of five nights)
Mid to long term bookings at discounted rates will be considered (particularly between October and April)
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
The French Riviera - beautiful scenery, sandy beaches, turquoise sea, wonderful mediterranean climate, fine dining and wine, still remains one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world.
Well known places such as Cannes, Nice and Monaco/ Monte Carlo are all easily accessible by either public bus or train.
Pretty hillside villages such as St Paul, Vence, Biot, Valbonne, Haut de Cagnes and Vallauris are well worth a visit and all may be reached by public bus.
The Old Town of Antibes has changed little over the years, retaining a character and charm that attracts visitors year on year. A maze of narrow cobbled streets, alleys, lanes and vaulted passageways, the Old Town is brimming with restaurants, to suit all budgets, cafes, bistros, boutiques, markets, craft stalls and small independent shops. The daily Marche Provencal (which is open in the mornings, six days a week) sells a wide variety of fresh produce from the local area and Provence. Late afternoon, early evening, the market area is taken over by restaurants and artisans displaying their hand produced wares.
Sit at one of the many pavement cafes or bars, under the shade of a plane tree, while you relax sipping a coffee or glass of wine observing and enjoying the French way of life.
Port Vauban and the International harbour are always worth a leisurely stroll, as they are used as a base by some of the largest and most expensive superyachts in the world.
The sister resort of Juan les Pins is only a short walk away (15 minutes) or a quick bus ride (less than 5 minutes) and is always worth a visit for the beaches, restaurants and bars and a lively nightlife.
There are a couple of options to visit St Tropez - probably the most straightforward (certainly in the summer months) is to take a regular boat trip from Juan les Pins (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes).
A short bus ride (or two stops on the train) from Antibes are Marineland (dolphin and orca show), Aquasplash (a large waterpark), Antibesland (a large funfair), crazy golf and The Old farm for younger guests.
