About the home

This amazing villa has to be our favourite Côte d'Azur property. In a secluded position, it has magical views of the medieval village of Biot. Beautiful large pool, jacuzzi, sunny and covered terraces with stunning views.

It is in a secluded position, the last
property at the end of a lane, and has magical views of the medieval village of Biot, about 800m as the crow flies. The interior is immaculate: it is very
spacious, uncluttered and attractively furnished in contemporary style. The
rooms have large windows maximizing the view and creating a light and airy
atmosphere. All bedrooms have French windows leading to a balcony or terrace.
The house is very well equipped and has air conditioning throughout.
Ground floor: Large open-plan living and dining room with comfortable seating,
satellite television, DVD, CD player and Wi-Fi, French windows open to a
large terrace with magnificent views. Kitchen is well equipped with cooker,
4-ring hob, microwave, large American fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing
machine. Double (140cm) with French windows opening to the garden. Bathroom
with bath, shower and WC. Cloakroom with WC.
First floor: Double (160cm) with French windows to a beautiful balcony with
views of the village; an en-suite bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, bidet
and WC. Double (140cm) which also opens onto the balcony. Double (140cm)
opens onto a separate balcony. Bathroom with bath, handheld shower. Separate
WC.
Outside:
The beautiful, large pool (12 x 5m) is heatable; the pool area is fenced off
and has sunny terraces with plenty of loungers and covered terrace for
outdoor dining. The nearby pool house has a summer kitchen, a BBQ, a shower
and WC.  A superb separate Jacuzzi on one of the sunny terraces has stunning
views. The garden is enclosed, with a level lawn and terraces. Secure parking
within the property.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The villa is in an excellent location, about 3k from the village of Biot with good local shops and some excellent restaurants and cafés. A 100m from the villa there is a pathway down to the village, about a 20-minute walk, longer to come back as it is very steep. Biot is a picturesque Provençal village with local craft shops and is well-known for its glassware (local glasswork visits available). Tennis courts 3k and many excellent golf courses in the area (nearest 3k). For children's entertainment, Aquasplash and Marineland and Luna Park are all about 10k. The lively old town of Antibes, about 12k, has many restaurants, cafés and an excellent market. The Musée Picasso is in spectacular position on the ramparts of the old town overlooking the sea and is worth a visit. The nearest sandy beaches are at Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, about 13k. The property is well placed for exploring many picturesque villages such as Mougins, famous for its gastronomy. St-Paul-de-Vence, associated with artists such as Bonnard and Picasso is home to the Maeght Foundation, one of Europe's finest modern art museums. Saint Paul has some wonderful shops and restaurants; the world famous Colombe d'Or is in the centre of the village. No visit to the Riviera would be complete without a trip to Cannes, about 14k, with exclusive boutiques, classy cafés on the Croisette (seafront) restaurants on the beach, glamorous yachts in the harbour and a wonderful daily market behind the picturesque old harbour. It is possible to explore the coast easily by car - Monaco is only about 40 minutes' drive. There is also an excellent train service 9Station 4K) and is a very pleasant way to visit the coastal towns. Nice airport is about 20k
