About the home

This beautiful Provencal Villa has been recently upgraded by us and now has a luxury kitchen and bathrooms. It is suitable for up to eight guests, with two double, one twin and one full-size-bunk bedrooms. The gardens and pool are totally private - no-one can overlook the property which is up at the end of a lane - and plenty of room for outdoor dining, using the summer kitchen and BBQ. The Villa is in easy driving distance of supermarkets (half-way to Valbonne and near the Antibes Autoroute junction), within 10 minutes drive to the sea and a little further if you want a sandy beach. Easy access to all the attractions of Cannes, Antibes, Nice and the Cote d'Azur, up into the lovely mountains behind the coast and many nearby golf courses.

Bedroom 2 (first floor) - Double bed, wardrobe, private terrace with cafe style marble-top table and 2 chairs
Bedroom 3 (first floor) - Twin single beds, wardrobe, access to terrace

Family Bathroom (first floor) - newly installed with bath, shower, wc and basin
Laundry room downstairs from the kitchen includes washing machine, drier, iron and ironing board

Beautiful terraces

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The French Riviera has been a top holiday location of choice for decades. It has a beautiful year-round climate, where even in winter it is possible to sit outside at midday and enjoy the sunshine. Along the coast are the well-know towns / cities of Monaco, Nice, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Cannes and St Tropez. Many beautiful and historic hill towns and villages are within close driving distance including Biot itself, St Paul de Vence, Mougins, and Villeneuve Loubet. Grasse is famous for the perfume industry, there are numerous vineyards close by. In winter there is skiing within 90 minutes drive - it's possible to ski in the morning and sit on the beach in the afternoon when spring starts.

The Antibes / Biot area

Biot itself is full of little craft shops, cafes and restaurants. The famous Biot Verrerie (glass-maker) is worth a visit and you can take home some wonderful glasses to remind you of your visit. The Fernand Leger Museum is also in the village - although less well known outside France than his contemporary, Picasso, he was a leading light of the cubism movement in the early 20th century. There is a golf course in the village and many more, including championship level courses, within 45 minutes drive.

Antibes is a beautiful ancient walled town, also with lots of shops and restaurants. And if you want to see how the rich, the very rich and the so-rich-you-can't-imagine spend some of their cash, have a look around the harbour at the yachts. You can dive from nearby Juan-les-Pins and there are many other opportunities to get out on the water.

Nice Airport 20 minutes drive. Easyjet flights from UK and Geneva, British Airways, Air France and many international airlines including direct flights on Emirates from Dubai and Qatar Air from Doha. All major car hire firms represented at Nice Airport - prices vary depending on availability but check out Europcar, Hertz and EasyCar, which we have usually found to have the best rates.
By road, Villa Temps Perdu is 10 minutes drive from the A8 exit Antibes from the west, Villeneuve Loubet from the east.
