About the home

This recently decorated ( 2010 ) modern apartment is well fitted and comfortably accommodates up to four persons.
The newly designed and fitted kitchen ( 2010 ) is well equipped with up to date modern appliances - cooker, hob, extractor, washing machine and a microwave.

The lounge comprises two large and comfortable sofas which convert into double beds, a breakfast bar with four chairs, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan, a television which receives English channels, a dvd player and a music unit. There is access from the lounge, through the patio doors onto the south facing outside balcony (with a table and chairs) which has a wonderful view of the sea and the Cap d' Antibes.

The bedroom includes two single beds, a fitted wardrobe, two bedside tables and access to a second balcony with views of the mountains. The apartment is double glazed and internet/wifi and extra fans are provided.

A cot and high chair will be provided on request

Within easy walking distance are the beaches and the town with its many bars and restaurants.

A designated underground garage at the residency is available ( suitable for a small car only ) which is to be booked in advance

Payment is accepted in sterling and euros (if payment is preferred in euros, please request a quote)

Payment is preferred by bank transfer. However if this is not suitable, we will consider other options

A booking is secured on payment of an initial deposit of 25% of the rental price
The balance will become due, six weeks before the start date

The rental price is inclusive of electricity, water, internet,bed linen and the end of stay clean - however it is a requirement that the apartment is left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition on departure

Towels are not included in the rental price but may be hired (for use in the apartment) at 10 euros for one bath and one hand towel

A refundable security deposit will be required

An English couple will meet all guests on arrival and departure and are on hand throughout your stay

Departures are by 10.00am and Arrivals from 16.00. Whenever possible we will try to fit in with your plans - by prior arrangement

Rentals of less than seven nights can be arranged (usually a minimum of five nights)

Mid to long term lets at discounted prices will be considered (usually October to April)

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

With plenty of sun and blue skies most of the year, the Cote d'Azur is a perfect holiday destination to visit at any time. The local transport is cheap and reliable to allow you to venture along the coast visiting some of the well known places including Nice, Menton, Monte Carlo and Cannes. Take the train, which hugs the coast, and take in some of the spectacular views before you reach your destination. St Tropez another favourite for many can be reached by boat from Cannes or Juan les Pins.

Golfers are attracted to this area because of the well designed courses within a 30 minutes drive and the fees which are very favourable. Transport and course bookings can be arranged to complement your holiday.
Festivals are held throughout the region most times of the year and are always worth visiting.

The Antibes area

Antibes and all it has to offer is an all year round destination set in the heart of the French Riviera. With a multitude of restaurants, bars, museums, arts and crafts there is so much choice. The Old Town which dates back over 2500 years has much history to discover whilst in present times it is a typical french town with a strong influence from Provence. Markets and fayres are held several times a week selling products and crafts from local artisans.

A short bus ride from Antibes are Marineland, Aquasplash and other attractions for children.
Juan les Pins is a short ten minutes walk from the property and it is well worth a visit for the beaches, casino,
bars and beach restaurants. At night the town is lively and attracts visitors from all over the Riviera with its party
atmosphere and clubs. Also home for many years for the International Jazz Festival.


Things to do in Antibes:

• have a guided tour of Antibes/Juan Les Pins on the petit train, hop on, hop off where ever you wish
• stroll around the 16th century Fort Carre or take a guided tour, which overlooks Port Vauban
• visit Parc Exflora in Antibes Les Pins –12. 5 hectares of mediterranean landscaped gardens
• wander around Garden Thuret on the edge of the Cap D'Antibes with its many botanical species
• have a few quiet moments in the cathedral – Eglise de L'Immaculate Conception
• perhaps have cocktails at the exclusive Hotel Du Cap – Eden Roc
• take the local bus to the Phare de La Groupe, where you have stunning views of Antibes,
Golf Juan, Baie Des Anges and the mountains.
• take a walk to Juan Les Pins with its boutiques, beachfront bars, casino and boat trips to The Iles De Lerins/St. Honourat/St Tropez
• visit the Napoleon and Naval museum

“Perfect week, we only wish we could have stayed longer” When we arrived at Nice airport we got a transfer straight to our apartment. The apartment was clean, light and airy with two balconies one overlooking the main street and the other with a view of the sea. The property was on the sixth floor and had more than enough space for us two, it really enabled us to relax on an evening if we didn't want to get out and explore Antibes and the surrounding areas. The main reason we decided to visit Antibes was because of the beaches at Juan Le Pin. The 10 minute walk meant we could indulge the lovely weather and our glamourous surroundings. Being right in the middle of Antibes everything is a short walk away meaning all the amenities are right on your door step. For anyone looking for a relaxed setting very close to everything that you go to Antibes for L'Oasis is perfect.
