This apartment benefits from an extra large,part covered balcony where you have an al fresco lounge and dining area, accessible from both the lounge and the kitchen.
Our studio offers 3 dining options - living room, kitchen and spacious balcony.
Domaine Juan Flore is within a 20 minutes beach side walk of the bustling seaside town of Juan les Pins and the Marina at Golfe Juan. You will find a wide range of restaurants and cafes en route.
Local shops, including internet cafe, deli, a choice of artisan bakers, good quality frozen food shop offering a very wide range of ready meals etc, and a large supermarket are about 5 minutes walk away.
Domaine Juan Flore is a secure, gated development, with low rise buildings set in spacious, well maintained, mature gardens with olive and lemon trees, and santolina, rosemary and lavender . There is an area for boules.
The large decked pool area incorporates a large pool and a separate childrens' pool. For those who like shelter from the sun there is a shaded area. You can relax around the pool on the spacious terracing or raised decking, or on the grassed area. The spacious pool building has showers and toilets. The pool is usually open from mid May - mid October and is supervised during July and August. The pool area is secure and entry is by key.

The living room, kitchen, shower room and seperate WC are all accessed from the hall. This spacious area also has a wardrobe, and a full length mirror.
This is our second home and we provide extras such as books, board games and CDs, beach mats, hair drier and straighteners, first aid kit, toiletries for emergencies, umbrella, shopping trolley and beach games. You will also find store cupboard basics in the kitchen - tea, coffee, condiments and dry goods.
The lounge has matching Ercol dining and lounge furniture. You will enjoy the comfort and convenience of 2 traditional twin beds which can be pushed together, these have new interior sprung mattresses and bedding for both warm and cooler weather. The third bed is a folding bed, suitable for a child ( 5 + ) or small adult. Laura Ashley curtains.
The kitchen overlooks the gardens and is equipped with a full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer, and dining table/chairs. Ventilation. If your are keen on trying local foods, you will find all the good quality equipment and tableware you need to ensure cooking, serving and eating are a pleasure too!
The lounge and kitchen both have curtained doors to the spacious balcony. Both have electric radiators if needed.
Fully tiled shower room with well lit vanity unit and towel warmer, also washing machine in separate cupboard.
There is a Separate WC, with vanity unit.
Air-con - the lounge has an integral air temperation system - an eco friendly form of cooling/heating. Happily, this works well for us. Rules of the development ban secondary air conditioning, as it adversely affects the integral system. By following the Mediterranean tradition of keeping doors shaded from the strongest sun, we find even the highest outside temperatures are moderated, making secondary air conditioning unnecessary.

The large L- shaped corner balcony offers long views across the well maintained gardens, planted with a delightful range of Mediterranean trees and shrubs.
The balcony is has 2 reclining chairs and 2 sunloungers - all with cushions, dining table, chairs and parasol. This area offers both sunny and shaded areas. There is a small electric barbecue and outside lights. So, in the Cote d'Azur climate, where outdoor living is possible almost all year, you have a large, well equipped, al fresco living space. A range of easy care plants provide further interest, and fresh herbs for you to use for cooking.
The lift and communal areas of the building are finished to a high standard and well serviced.
Guests with limited mobility should note, there is a step up to the balcony from both the lounge and the kitchen.
Our guests have the use of our small, lockable garage in the basement below the apartment. To give you an idea of garage size - our Renault Scenic fits in. This garage also has space to store bicycles etc.
If you book our apartment you will be met on arrival by our English speaking agent. You will be given the keys and shown around. We have chosen this level of service as from our own experience, we know how stressful and time consuming it can be, at the end of a long journey to collect keys from an office and then have to locate accommodation !
Normally booking in is after 4.00pm and booking out is by 10.00am, by arrangement directly with Fiona,our agent.
Our English speaking ( first language) agent is available for the duration of your stay if you have any questions.
The apartment is not suitable for the under 5s, but we may be able to accommodate young babies, please ask.
Rental includes electricity and all linen ie bedding, personal, kitchen and beach towels. End of stay cleaning is included for stays of 1 week or more.
Swimming pool is usually open mid May - mid October, manned during July and August. Please note we cannot take responsibility for closure of the pool for any reason.
At the time of booking, a 50% deposit is payable to secure the apartment
6 weeks prior to arrival, the balance of the rental is payable. A fully refundable Security Deposit of £250 is payable 2 weeks before arrival, this will be refunded after your departure, subject to satisfactory property inspection.
For bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full rental plus Security Deposit is payable.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
Climate - the area is sheltered by the Alps, and the most protected part of the Mediterranean coast. Rainfall is infrequent – 63 days a year.The average maximum daily temperature in Nice in August is 28 °C., and the average minimum daily temperature in January is 6 °C.
There is an excellent coastal train service accessing all the main Cote D'Azur resorts and Italy. The Cote d'Azur is an all year round venue with something for everyone to enjoy.
Inland there are many attractive towns and villages - Grasse with its parfumeries, historic St Paul de Vence and Eze, and pottery villages such as Vallauris, . These and many more can be reached by public transport.
Skiing resorts are about 90 minutes drive away.
Juan Les Pins is famed for its July Jazz festival and its August season of music with fireworks displays. There are many other festivals throughout the year, notably the Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix, Nice Carnival and Menton's Fete de Citron.
Juan Les Pins is a seaside resort with beautiful beaches, fantastic restaurants, designer shopping and a vibrant nightlife.
In contrast, neighbouring Antibes has a beautiful Old Town with quaint narrow streetsand picturesque squares lined with individual shops and restaurants.
There are many art galleries and museums within easy reach - Picasso in Antibes, Matisse in Nice and Coteau in Menton, Leger in Biot, to name a few. So this area is great for an out of season break.
If you enjoy self catering, you will find food shopping a true delight - from the family run charcuteries,boulangeries and patisseries to the March Provencal in Antibes - the spice stall has a choice of 18 different peppercorns !
The Marinas at Golfe Juan and Antibes give an insight into the world of luxury yachts.
Almost adjacent to the development is the Parc Ex Flora, This is a large, formal public garden, ideal for an interesting leisurely stroll with formal walks, ponds, fountains, a maze, palm and orange groves, a winter garden and rotunda.
The local bus service is very reasonable and frequent, the nearest stop is about 5 minutes walk away. There is a 200 bus that takes you from Cannes to Nice for €1!
The 250 airport coach stop is a short distance from the apartment.

"Great location, great balcony"
Liz Davey is very straightforward and professional. The flat is as advertised if not better than advertised. Particularly good that beach towels and beach mats are provided. Very well-equipped kitchen. Excellent value for money.

"Great location, 5 mins from sandy beach and huge pool and balcony"
The appt is located in a very nice development, 5 mins walk from in my opinion the best sandy beaches in the area in juan les pins. Its about a 20 min walk to the centre of juan les pins and the train station....but this is all along the beautiful golden sandy beach, so is very pleasant. There are 3 bakeries 10 mins away, a huge supermarket 5 mins away and a bus stop 10 mins away which takes you direct to nice airport.
The complex itself has a huge pool, which is amazing. Its not busy at all and has someone looking out as a guard all the time its open.
The appt is very comfortable. Bed room/livi room, a bathroom, toilet and kitchen, which is fully equipped with everything you will need. There is also a huge balcony, which is great for breakfast and evenings.
Points for improvement: no internet access and no tv. Also there are two single beds in the room, which is great for friends, but would be nice to have a double for a couple.
Nonetheless a fantastic rental, at a reasonable price a d would highly recommend.
Communication with owner is very good also

"fantastic flat to the sunny south!"
We enjoyed a fantastic week staying in this beautifully kept flat in the sculptured gardens of Juan Flore. Everything you might need for a relaxing holiday is close at hand: the beach, shops and buses to Cannes, Nice and Antibes are less than 10 minutes walk away or you could relax on the expansive balcony or by the pool.

"Very nice apartment at a great price"
This was an ideal apartment for my short visit to Juan-les-Pins. Ideally located on a very attractive gated development for walks along the beach to Juan-les-Pins or Golfe Juan. The apartment is very well maintained and the English speaking agents were very friendly and helpful.

"This wonderful apartment is clean, spacious, and ideally located - highly recommended!"
Complete with a large L-shaped balcony, this apartment was a nice place to spend lazy days. For days out, it is right next to the beach, a short 5min walk into the centre of Juan Les Pins, and nearby local connections to Cannes, Nice, and Monaco. Basically, it was relaxing but with plenty to explore.

"a lovely clean studio apartment in a quiet corner of juan-les-pins"
this is a lovely studio for a couple in a low-rise complex in a super area of juan-les-pins. we particularly liked the large terrace with sun-loungers and spent many happy hours in sun and shade - no noise - relaxing view over well-kept gardens.
everything was clean and working (nearly new) and well-stocked with equipment.nice finishing touches (paintings, literature, etc) comfortable beds (a bit of a rarity in france).
beautiful sandy beach within 5-10 minutes walk still very busy even in september.
large leclerc supermarket 5-10 minutes away, also 3 boulangeries.
opted for pick-up by cyril from airport, (charming friendly man), would thoroughly recommend it. took airport express 250 bus back 9 euros each, bus stop 10 mins walk
would have liked television occasionally, also non-stick frying pan, but these are minor details compared to the quality of the apartment.
all in all a lovely place to stay we would thoroughly recommend it for all age groups (we are pensioners but we found all ages there in september

"Perfect apartment in a prime location!"
If your looking for a perfect apartment in a prime location with secure parking then this is the one to choose! Whilst retaining your own personal space and privacy the apartment is ideally situated within walking distance to the beach, supermarket and centre of Juan le Pins.
The owner Liz is very efficient in replying to emails and queries and the apartment is full of information about the surrounding area.
There is a little train that takes you from Juan le Pins to Antibes which is lovely. A return ticket is only 7 euro, hop on and off as you please!
If you have access to a car, as we had, then the coastal route to St Tropez is awesome with some beautiful stop off points to take pictures or even cool off with a dip in the sea! We also managed a trip to Monte Carlo, car park Louis II is handy if you want to visit the casino area.
All in all we had a fantastic holiday and can't wait to return.

"A relaxing break without the need for a car with comfortable and clean accommodation."
Good Express bus service from the airport, the standard bus service is also regular and cheap with easy ticketing.
If you are reasonably fit a walk to Antibes is interesting with the reward of good restaurants in the old quarter and a visit to the Picasso Museum has to be done.
The onsite pool was quite warm and was just what was needed from time to time to cool down.
If you want to enjoy the beach we found that if you walk a little way towards Golfe Juan there is always plenty of room.
