This brand new apartment ( completed October 2010) on the 3rd floor of a prestigious residency (six floors in total) is tastefully fitted and furnished throughout to the highest standards and comfortably sleeps four adults.
Set in a convenient and central location in the town, ( a one minute walk to the main square of Place General de Gaulle), the apartment is located in a particularly quiet position, on the internal side of the residential building, with no road (and traffic) directly outside.
The good size, west facing balcony, overlooking the garden area, includes a dining table with four chairs, outdoor lighting and a sun umbrella and benefits from the sun from lunchtime to late afternoon.
The lounge which opens onto the balcony includes a stylish black leather sofa and matching leather chair, a flat screen tv with English channels, a dvd player and a music system. Adjacent to the kitchen is a good size dining table with four chairs.
The apartment has reverse climatisation installed in each of the two bedrooms and in the open-plan lounge.
The professionally designed and fitted open plan kitchen is fully equipped with the latest appliances - a Bosch electric oven & hob, cooker hood, a microwave, a washing machine and a full size fridge/ freezer.
The master bedroom is fitted with a double bed and the two single beds in the 2nd bedroom can be converted into a large double bed if preferred. Both bedrooms include floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes with ample storage and hanging space, furniture and bedside tables with modern lighting.
The bathroom includes a top quality , spacious, shower cubicle, a vanity unit with wash basin and a heated towel rail.
The w.c is housed separately and includes a washhand basin.
The apartment is fully double glazed with electric operated window shutters and has a very effective air conditioning system.
Internet / Wifi is also provided at the apartment.

Payment is preferred by bank transfer, although we will try to be flexible if this is not suitable
The rental price includes all utilities ( electricity & water ), internet/wifi, good quality bed linen and the end of stay clean although it is a requirement that the apartment is left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition on departure.
Towels ( for use in the apartment ) are an optional extra which may be hired at 10euros for one hand and one bath towel
A refundable security deposit is required to cover against loss of keys, damage or if the apartment is left in an unreasonable condition.
Arrival times are from 16.00hrs and departure times are by 10.00am - however whenever possible we will try to allow flexibility on arrival / departure times which need to be agreed in advance
We are usually flexible on arrival and departure days ( including mid-week )
Rentals of less than seven nights will be considered (usually a minimum of five nights)
Medium and long term lets may be accepted at discounted rates ( particularly between October and April )
All guests will be met by a resident English couple on arrival and departure who are on hand throughout your stay.

With mild winters, plenty of sun, turquoise blue sea and fine cuisine and wine available, the French Riviera remains one of the world's most popular holiday destinations.
Public transport ( both train and bus ) is reliable and inexpensive for visiting places such as Cannes, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice and Italy (Ventimiglia market on a Friday).
Juan les Pins ( the sister resort ) which is a modern and lively holiday resort is within walking distance or a short bus ride away. Villages in the area that are well worth a visit include St Paul, Vence, Vallauris, Mougins, Biot and Valbonne. Attractions in the area to visit include Parc Phoenix, Marineland, Aquasplash and Antibesland.
The Antibes / Antibes Centre Ville area
The historic Old Town of Antibes is one of the most popular places to stay and visit on the French Riviera. Take a stroll through the cobbled streets, wander down the passages and alleys and discover the unique atmosphere that has changed so little over the years. With a multitude of restaurants, bistros, cafes and bars to choose from there is no shortage of places to dine out and soak up the ambiance of French living.
As well as taking in the sun and relaxing on one of the sandy beaches, have a leisurely stroll around the ramparts, visit the Picasso museum, check out the super yachts in the marina and make sure to go to the daily Marche Provencal and sample the local produce.

New spacious apartment with all the amenities you could want including largish balcony. Close to train station and bus stops so very handy for trips out. Also, only a few minutes walk to the old town shops and restaurants or newer parts. The walk through the lanes of the old town to the beach was always a pleasure. We thought the apartment offered the best of the new with the best of the old. Loved it!

The apartment is just a stroll from the shops, restaurants and lovely sandy beach. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Villa Edison has been finished off to a high specification.
It was so easy to visit Cannes and Monte Carlo by train with the station just 5 mins walk away. However, there is plenty to do and see on the doorstep and no need to go far! We plan to return!
