About the home

Juan Flore is a modern development of 2-3 floor apartments set within a series of landscaped gardens and surrounding a communal swimming pool. Get the airport bus directly to Avenue du Jardin Secret or park your car in the underground garage and take the lift one floor up right to the front door. Take the pedestrian path to the sandy beach 5 mins walk with bars and restaurants. There's a shopping centre with big supermarket, internet cafe, bars, and shops just 5 minutes walk away. Cannes is just 15 minutes drive west and Antibes 15 minutes east with the lively night life of Juan les Pins a leisurely stroll along the beach.

Also perfect for visitors to the Cannes exhibitions as it is a peaceful haven but only 15 minutes away. There is a bus costing 1 Euro which goes every 15 minutes at the top of Avenue du Jardin Secret and drops you outside the main exhibition halls.
Smoking is not allowed inside but there is a lovely terrace at the front and decked area at the back.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The Cote d'Azure can be sunny all year round but it is also very green (so it must rain sometimes.) Juan les Pins has many pine wooded areas as its name suggests.

The Cote d’Azur, also known as the French Riviera, is internationally renowned for its glamour and stylishness. There's the Cannes film festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the international Jazz festivals in Nice and the 50s heyday vibe of Juan Les Pins. Juan Les Pins has been going through a resurgence of character with much renovation to traditional hotels and restaurants which give it an elegant feel. Juan Les Pins is full of great bars and restaurants - in the village and all along the beach. There is also a strong artistic heritage, including museums to Matisse and Marc Chagall in Nice, a museum dedicated to Picasso in Antibes and a museum to Renoir in Cagnes-Sur-Mer

Don't forget the wonderful and numerous hillside villages including the famous St Paul de Vence. The area has a number of centres of artisans. There are a number of potteries in Vallauris, perfumeries in Grasse and glassmakers and ceramic makers in Biot.

The excellent rail and road connections make it simple and cheap to travel around. There is a great bus service which costs Euro 1 and a local train service which connects the towns along the Cote d’Azur going as far as Ventimiglia and on into Italy, Much of the line runs along the coast making it a very pleasant and picturesque journey.

The Antibes / Juan les Pins area

Plenty of activities for children including zipwire (Villeneuve Loubet), waterpark and aquarium (Biot), watersports, sailing, and of course in winter two excellent ski areas (the pretty village of Auron and the more modern Isola 2000 each of which take 2-3 days to ski entirely and are both 1.5 hours from the Juan Flore making it possible to ski from the apartment each day. Golfe Juan port and marina are a short walk as a change from the array of bars, restaurants and clubs of Juan les Pins in the opposite direction.

The charming old town of Antibes and its marina is v close as is St Tropez. Juan Les Pins train station is 15 minutes walk and you can be in Monte Carlo Monaco in half an hour and over into Italy in an hour. Don't forget the plethora of picturesque hillside villages with amazing food and views. This region has a special clarity of light which attracted Picasso, Van Gogh et al and still attracts arty-types today. Many galleries in villages like St Paul de Vence and a Picasso museum in Antibes.

“A superb property in terms of decor, location and ambience” This property is spacious, clean and contains everything that you could need. In addition, the beach is less than 5 minutes walk away, as is the pool. Cannes, Monaco and Nice are all bus rides away (there are direct buses within 5 minutes walk of the apartment). I would most definitely reccomend this property. In fact I like it so much I am considering returning for part of the skiing season early next year.
