The Antibes / Juan les Pins area
The town of Antibes Juan-les-Pins is the second largest town in the department per head of population. Antibes Juan-les-Pins has 25 kms of coastline with a great variety of different marine features. Juan-les-Pins is very famous for its night -life and luxury hotels, night clubs and restaurants.
A paradise for jet-set people. Superb beaches. Juan-les-Pins is also famous for its annual Jazz-festival in July.
Railway is near only 5 minutes from the apartment. Take a trip by bus or train to St. Tropez

This flat is minutes by foot from the centre of Juan-les-Pins by foot, and even closer to the Gare SNCF, with its connections to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Menton and Italy. It's also not far from the centre of Antibes (we walked it in 15 minutes comfortably). The private beaches of Juan-les--Pins are close by (we used Biera Plage - say hello from Stephen & Laurent if you go!). The boulanger is just around the corner, as are a couple of traiteurs and an épicerie. Small supermarkets are not far away. The flat is on the third floor, around the corner from the road, and is very quiet - you can't hear the trains either. The air-conditioning in the bedroom was very welcome! It is plenty large enough for two people - 4 would be a push unless you were outdoors most of the time. Anita and her husband were very welcoming (even a bottle of rose and delicious tomatoes from the garden awaited us). |
