About the home

Oceane is a beautifully and stylishly presented villa, set within enclosed grounds. It boasts its own private swimming pool and benefits from reversible air conditioning throughout.

The open plan living/dining room/American kitchen provides spacious accommodation and opens out onto the poolside terrace. The bedrooms are comfortable and benefit from their own en suite bathroom/shower room.

Outside, there is plenty of space to relax by the pool or enjoy a meal al fresco. If you can tear yourselves away from the villa, the sea is just 800m away and shops can be found a short walk away.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The Cote d'Azur stretches along the warmest coastline of France from Provence to the Italian border.
The beaches from pebble to fine sand are well maintained and some 'private' offer extra facilities, bars and restaurants for a whole days comfortable seaside lounging! Gastronomy is at its best catering for some of the most prestigious clients but offering many choices of restaurant all along the coast.

The bustling cities of Cannes and Nice contrast to the small and still authentic perched villages on the hilltops, and other smaller towns offer quiet corners with dotted villas and yet still most interesting town centres alive with artistic history and tradition.

Further north the terraced hillsides lead up into cooler parts and the Alps can be seen towering above. Hiking and walking as well as many water sports on the lakes will be amongst activities here away from the busier coasts.

The Antibes area

Antibes-Juan les Pins is one of the very sought-after seaside resorts of the Côte d'Azur, situated between Nice (20 km) and Cannes (15 km). Facing Nice, on the other side of the Baie des Anges, Antibes boasts a marina and an historic centre, very popular with holiday makers. It offers a large choice of restaurants, cafés, theatres, piano bars, chic hotels and private clubs. Juan les Pins offers an exciting nightlife with highly fashionable night clubs and casinos. The Cap d'Antibes is a small piece of paradise, home to a number of millionaires.

Property setting: In a peaceful residential area, close to a Thalassotherapy centre, Marineland and Aqua Splash.
300m from shops (bakery, grocer, chemist,...) and bus stop with buses into town. On the way back the bus stops just outside the villa.

PLACES TO VISIT:
- Biot. 3 km. Beautiful and picturesque little village best known for its glassware.
- Vallauris-Golfe Juan. 10 km. Set in the hills above the magnificent Golfe Juan, with stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, the lles de Lérins and the Esterel mountains. The old Vallauris oozes Mediterranean charm and boasts a tradition of pottery. Picasso spent ten years here.
- Cannes. 15 km. Beachside resort with its large promenade, chic boutiques, restaurants, bars, shops and festivals including the famous Cannes film festival in May each year. A walk along the “Croisette”, harbour and sandy beaches is a must.
- St Paul de Vence. 15 km. One of the most beautiful and most visited villages in France which has attracted many artists due to its great natural beauty. Also home to Fondation Maeght, France’s most important modern art museum with a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and other graphic works from the 20th century.

- MarineLand, Antibes. 3 km. Aquarium. The greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, orcas, killer whales and seals. Also aquariums and a 30m-long tunnel surrounded by sharks!
- Aquasplash, Antibes. 3 km. Water park. Water slides, wave pool, slides, toboggans, flumes and rubber-ring rides... and the Black Cannon, one of France’s fastest water slides, which propels riders to speeds of 60 km/hour!!
- Golf de Biot, Biot. 3 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 67 - 4511m. Pleasant course with narrow and short fairways and a beautiful panorama over the village of Biot. Ideal for beginners.
- Visiobulle Antibes, Juan les Pins. 5 km. Boat trip. An hour long excursion in a glass-bottomed boat to discover the Cap d'Antibes with stunning underwater view.

FURTHER AFIELD:
- Nice. 20 km. Fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful “Promenade des Anglais”, a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets. Take a stroll along the flower market in the “Cours Saleya”, restaurants serving Mediterranean and sea food and bars. Nice is cool in winter and hot in summer!!!
- Grasse. 25 km. Fascinating historic town and world's perfume capital. Explore the delightful narrow streets or go on one of the factory tours offered by some of the most famous perfume houses.
- Tourrettes sur Loup. 25 km. Charming hill top medieval village known as the Violet village and surrounded by superb landscapes. Well worth a detour.
- Monaco. 40 km. One of the most famous and glamorous cities in the world with its casino at Monte Carlo, F1 Grand Prix each May, tennis tournament and of course its incredible nightlife.
