In the heart of the old town, this stunning duplex apartment forms the ground and first floor of one of the ancient stone houses for which Le Vieil Antibes is famous. Place du Revely is a leafy medieval square with The Remparts just through the archway by the house and it's a few steps to gaze over the Mediterranean and the pretty little beach of La Gravette. A short walk to the Marina with its fabulous yachts and, in the other direction, to the Marché Provencal - one of the oldest and most charming markets in Provence. The house is two streets away from Chateau Grimaldi which houses the famous Picasso Museum. Authentic restaurants and friendly bars abound.

The apartment has a large living/dining room through an arch to a new fully-fitted kitchen and also a downstairs shower room/wc. It is furnished in a minimalist style with a comfortable leather sofa and chairs, glass dining table and wrought iron chairs. Up a spiral staircase to the first floor with two double bedrooms, a marble shower room, and a laundry area. The apartment is newly renovated and extremely comfortable.
Extras available include linens/towels (20 euros per bedroom). 50% deposit payable on booking. Balance on arrival. Security deposit of 400 euros paid in cash on arrival and refunded on day of departure ( if all is well). Payment accepted in sterling or euros.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region
Antibes is the perfect destination for touring or relaxing on the French Riviera. The excellent train service runs along the coast line as far as Italy calling at the famous resorts of Monaco, Nice and Cannes. For those who would rather visit the more medieval villages, you can head inland to St. Paul de Vence, Valbonne and Mougins. In the winter, there is some good skiing to be had within a reasonable drive to the Isola area. Antibes is an area of France rich in history and culture and with activities to appeal to everyone.
The apartment is within the popular Old Town with all its facilities. There is a fresh produce market every morning within 2 mins walk. There are a great variety of wonderful restaurants and popular bars within short walking distances and within a few steps you are looking out over the Mediterranean just by the beach and harbour. Parking can be obtained if needed in the Post Office square in the centre of town. Cap D`Antibes with its lovely walks is 30 mins from the Old Town and there are lots of water activities available at the nearby beaches.

"Off- Season Delight--Veilles Antibes Charm"
From Veronica's prompt and informative reply, to Chris welcoming us, through our stay in this charming, refurbished, well-appointed residence, Antibes more than lived up to our wishes for a relaxing, comfortable break from Canadian winter. THe apartment has everything we needed to cook when we wished--from the best local produce found at the daily covered market (steps away), to sleep well in quiet, comfortable surroundings,to dine in a range of restaurants and bistros and to venture out exploring the area. The flat is impeccably kept and furnished, very comfortable on those occasional rainy days--- in the heart of Veille Antibes. We enjoyed every moment thanks to our gracious hosts. It felt like home right away. It would be selfish to keep this beauty spot a secret.

"8 Place Du Revely"
We stayed end of May/beginning of June and were much impressed with the appartment, which had a wonderfull ambience and has been sympathetically upgraded to a very high standard by it's present owner. It is in a wonderful location and is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars, markets and beaches etc. The spiral staircase did not present a problem, despite the fact we had a very elderly and infirm member of our party! It may however be a consideration for anyone with very young children or toddlers. We would certainly use the appartment again on any future visit to Antibes.
Car parking in the South of France is never easy and there is no designated parking close to the appartment. Residents must be prepared to walk a fair distance to overnight free parking, or use the parking at the marina which is pricy, however a new underground car park very closeby is currently under construction, which may provide a solution.
