The apartment is on the first

floor of a house with blue shutters. The sea is a 30 metres walk to the

ramparts with a walkway next to the sea. The house has recently been

completely renovated and is tastefully furnished in contemporary style.

The interior is very nicely decorated and all the appliances are new.

First floor

only:An attractive open-plan living room,

with comfortable seating (sofa converts to double bed), a television,

dining area and well-equipped kitchen. Kitchen area with 4-ring hob,

oven, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine and electric kettle. Double

bedroom (160cm). Attractive shower room with shower, basin and

WC.

Outside: Car parks (70€ for a weekly

ticket) are a short walk away.

Notes: Electricity and heating are included.

The apartment is in the Safranier district, the most attractive part of old Antibes, a village-like atmosphere, with narrow residential streets and pretty houses. A delightful area to explore on foot with the old public wash house, Le Lavoir, just round the corner and a little square La Place du Safranier about 50m with a great choice of cafés and restaurants. There is a very nice walk along the ramparts overlooking the sea which is where you will find the Picasso Museum. A Provençal market with local produce on the Cours Massena, 100m walk, is open every morning throughout the summer. Antibes is a fascinating town with something for everyone: a large yachting marina, antique markets, great shops and boutiques and a good choice of sandy beaches. A small beach, La Plage de Safranier is 300m and the other Antibes beaches Plage de La Gravette and Plage du Ponteil are within easy walking distance. Antibes train station is just over 1k. Bus station is about 600m. Explore the coast by rail; there are regular trains to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and into Ventigmiglia just over the Italian border. Nice airport is about 20 mins drive.
