Casa Levana is a lovely, large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom traditional Country House set in a small, picturesque and typically charming village in Andalucia. It has a large secluded courtyard and two further generous sized patios which are perfect for dining and relaxing.

The house is on two floors, with a fully equipped kitchen, substantial bathroom and living/dining room downstairs. There are three large bedrooms - two of which have en-suite bathrooms and Air Conditioning. The third bedroom has twin beds and ceiling fan.

The master bedroom has a wood beamed ceiling, king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, air conditioning and underfloor heating for those cooler months.

The double bedroom also has a king-sized bed, air conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom with shower. It also has a walk in wardrobe. Lastly next to the double bedroom is a twin bedded room with has charming hand glazed tiles and a ceiling fan.

The outside area has two large patio areas and a charming courtyard with flowering shrubs climbing its walls. All are totally private. At the rear of the property there is a further building which contains a summer living room for relaxation.

There are 3 patio areas which are all totally secluded and private.

The first patio is a charming courtyard with flowering shrubs climbing up the old irregular walls. A large jasmine bush provides the most glorious aroma whilst a lemon tree hangs over the courtyard providing an abundance of lemons for that all-important gin & tonic!

Just beyond the courtyard, there is the main, large patio area with built-in table and seating for eight. This is the perfect spot for dining in the fresh air and looking out over the patio.

The last patio has a large stone barbeque with plenty of seating.

The Andalucia region

Casa Levana is perfectly situated for visiting the historic sites of Seville, Granada & Cordoba.

Ronda is also well recommended for its famous worldwide dramatic escarpments and views, and for the deep El Tajo gorge that carries the Rio Guadalevín through its centre.

Antequera is a less well known tourist destination, but this is a fascinating town dating back to Roman times. The town centre features lots of interesting Baroque architecture and pretty winding streets and alleyways. A very Spanish feeling town, with good shopping and plenty of good tapas bars, all very reasonably priced.

The wonderful beaches on the Costa del Sol are a mere hour away and there are several lakes again all within driving distance. Also everywhere you drive you will pass white washed villages nestled in the countryside.


El Chorro is a must see with its three stunningly beautiful turquoise coloured lakes bordered by pine forests. A tranquil retreat where you can swim and picnic on the lake shore.

Fuenta de Piedra - known as the pink lagoon - is one of the largest natural lagoons in Spain and provides a natural breeding spot for thousands of pink flamengos.

Lobo Park or Wolf Park is unique in the world and is known as the only wolf park where wolves can be seen in the their natural environment. Almost a million square metres has been cordoned off to house the 29 wolves that currently roam the park.

"Lovely house, a bit remote"

Casa Levana is a very easy house to be in, and be relaxed in. It's clean and simple, and we customised it so that we quickly felt at home. We spent most of our time there outside in the courtyard, but it got very hot and there isn't a spot with permanent shade to be there all day. Unfortunately, its location is remote and the local town - though friendly and easy to shop in, and with a large, clean public swimming pool - is not very interesting. You have to drive to find places of interest - brilliant lakes for swimming in about 30 mins away, Cordoba/Seville/Granada near enough for day trips (we didn't go) or the Costa del Sol (we spent a day at Fuengirola which we all enjoyed, to my surprise). A very pleasant base it you don't mind the travelling.

A perfect home from which to see all the offerings of Andalusia. Ideal for those who wish a quiet and rural location.

"Perfect for a family or a getaway with friends"

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Levana. I was looking for a place in its own peaceful surrounding and definitely got what I wanted! Children loved it as well. There was so much space that we didn't get in each others way. Then again Los Perenos is situated so that it is easy to visit towns nearby even with small children. You can get to Torremolinos, Sevilla or Cordoba in appr. an hour or hour and a half drive!
