Casa Fuente is an exceptionally spacious detached villa just a few minutes walk from the centre of Fuente de Piedra, often referred to as one of Spain's best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only twenty minutes from the larger Andalucian town of Antequera, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local supermarket, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The villa benefits from a number of communal pools and a purpose built children's play area . With both a generous roof terrace and spacious patio, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco, With two king-size beds, bunk-beds and a single bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The village has many amenities including inexpensive typical Spanish restaurants, friendly bars, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical centre, train station and tourist information office.The general area around Fuente de Piedra is richly agricultural and lovers of the countryside and those wishing to experience authentic Andalusian culture will be at home here.
Close to the village is a large lake, also known as Laguna de Fuente de Piedra or the Pink Lagoon, which is a conservation area famous for being one of the most important European breeding grounds for the flamingo, ideal for walks and bird watching.
Antequera / Fuente de Piedra area
Interesting day trips include historic Granada and Seville, the El Torcal National Park and rock formations and winter skiing at Sol y Nieve. Other nearby visitor attractions include golf, horse riding, Wolf Park (Lobo Park) and the local donkey sanctuary.
For a fun and adventurous day out (either by car or bullet train) why not visit Seville’s Isla Magica theme park (Magical Island), the Aquapolis Water Park or the Guadal Water Park. Fuengirola also offer an exciting day out at the Mijas Aquapark or visit the Fuengirola Zoo.
Within a 15 min drive is the historical town of Antequera with a large hypermarket nearby, shops and restaurants. It has a useful rail link (AVE Bullet Train system), and Malaga and the coast can be reached in 25 minutes and Madrid in just two hours. The town and valley of Antequera are overlooked by an enormous crag of limestone called La Peña de los Enamorados, or "The Lovers' Leap".

Further details indoors: The entrance hall leads into the light, airy open plan living/dining room past the spiral marble staircase. Furnished with two three seater sofas and a dining table seating six and features a log fire. From the living room there are two sets of large patio doors opening out onto the enclosed and private patio which over-looks a children's play area.
The kitchen area has fitted cupboards and work tops with modern appliances including, stainless steel convection oven ceramic hob with cooker hood, microwave, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is also an iron and ironing board. For your safety a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher have been installed.
The marble staircase leads to the first floor which has two double bedrooms, (master with fully equipped en suite bathroom and shower, king sized bed and wardrobe), second bedroom with king size bed and wardrobe, third bedroom with steel bunk beds and fourth with single bed, both with wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also a fully equipped tiled family bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet and wash basin. Sleeps seven in total.
The spiral staircase leads to a large private roof terrace with views of the lake and mountains in the distance.

The living room has two double patio doors leading to a private patio and barbecue area with large table and seating for seven. This overlooks the children's play area and communal gardens. There are currently two large communal swimming pools (not heated) and children's play area near by.

Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. A deposit of £50 per week (non refundable) is required. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. If the balance is not paid as required the booking may be cancelled.
A charge of £50 will be made for the villa to be cleaned and linen changed over at the end of the rental period. If you want the cleaner to come in and clean around and change the linen on the beds at the end of the first week this can be arranged at a charge of £25. However, if you want the linen and towels left there is no extra charge.
