About the home

Links Lodge is a recently converted stone built steading looking out over tranquil countryside. The house is freshly decorated in contemporary and elegant style with all the facilities and luxuries of home. The sitting room has comfortable chaise sofas, satellite tv, dvd and south facing french windows opening on to a private courtyard. The kitchen / dining room is fully equipped with glass dining table and Verner Panton chairs seating up to 10, breakfast bar and also has french windows.

Also downstairs there is a spacious hallway, fourth bedroom and wc, offering wheelchair friendly access.

The main bedroom suite has a superking bed, en suite shower / wc and french windows on two elevations facing the private courtyard to the south and open countryside to the north. Two further bedrooms, one with zip and link twin beds and the other with twin divans are adjacent to a spacious family bathroom.

The private courtyard is accessed via either the utility room or the french windows from the living room and provides a peaceful, sheltered location for relaxing or eating outdoors. The kitchen and utility room are fully equipped and the house has a high chair, cot, dish washer, washing machine, playstation, sky tv, wireless internet.

A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, balance payable 10 weeks prior to arrival date.

The Fife region

Links Lodge is a wonderful base to explore Fife and specifically the wonderful East Neuk fishing villages, the gorgeous beaches of Kingsbarns, St Andrews and Tentsmuir. There is so much available for all the family whether it is a historic and picturesque golfing links, the art festival at Pitenweem, the wonderful atmosphere of St Andrews town, or a shopping trip to the City of Dundee (25mins).

The Anstruther area

The pretty fishing village of Anstruther is 5 minutes away, with it's famous award winning fish and chip shop, maritime museum, boat trips to the Isle of May, selection of cafes, 'the Bank' friendly public house and the delightful 'Cellar' fish restaurant.

5 minutes further takes in Crail with its picturesque square and harbour and historic golf links.

Pitenweem and its art community are within ten minutes drive.
