Quinta das Eiras is a self catering villa located near Ansião in 'Outeiro'. The villa is surrounded by rural atmosphere with breathtaking views in a peaceful, relaxing and private position. Not far from local restaurants and shops.
The accommodation comprises a two storey villa with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge/dining. Outside, a refreshing swimming pool, a large garden, private parking, games room, BBQ and external activities will be at sole disposition of guests.

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast region

Silver Coast beaches were for long time one of the biggest secrets in Portugal; now at your disposition to be (re)discovered. Only 40 minutes driving from the cottage you can find beautiful white sandy beaches like the seaside town resort of Figueira da Foz, or the ecological beach of Osso da Baleia; you can drive to Praia da Vieira and eat some delicious seafood or you can walk in Praia do Pedrogão and discover a lake lost in the forest. Driving south you will find the beautiful beach of S. Pedro de Moel. Further south, Nazaré is waiting for you with panoramic views over the sea and if you go beyond, you will find a beautiful bay in S. Martinho do Porto.

Ansiao / Outeiro area

There are many things to do and visit in the area. You can for instance, do a bit of trekking in the many mountain trails, cycling, climbing, swimming, fishing, etc... Or then, you can visit th roman ruins of Conimbriga only 15 minutes driving or the canyons of Poios and Buracas Valley or the many windmills scattered trough the beautiful landscape of Ansião and Sicó region.

Train station in Pombal and Coimbra, both 30 minutes away.

The villa stands at the end of a traditional Portuguese village with gorgeous views, only 5 minutes drive from shops and restaurants. The villa has three bedrooms (sleeps 6), one on the ground floor and the others on the upper floor with verandas overlooking the grounds and the beautiful panoramic views. All rooms have wardrobes and central heating (winter season). There is a bathroom on the ground floor and other in the upper floor.

The kitchen includes: microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob, dishwasher, electric grill, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, teapot, griddle, cutlery, pots and pans, glassware, etc...

The sitting room/dining area is very comfortable with fireplace, TV, cable TV, DVD player and collection of DVD’s, CD player/radio and some books. The dining area has a large table with 6 chairs.

Linen and towels provided and changed weekly. You also have free use of our washing machine, iron and ironing board. On request (free of charge): cot, baby bath and high chair.

The games room (stone cottage) has several table games, cards, dominos, darts, TV, CD player/radio and Playstation II with games. This room has a mini-bar (not included in price; please see price list at place).

Outside (and exclusive to the villa) are a private parking, large garden with two traditional threshing circles, tables and chairs, barbecue, badminton field, bow and arrow area and a refreshing swimming pool with sun loungers.

'The house was well equipped, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. There was lots to do at the house, or nice places to visit locally. The bbq is near the pool and lovely for the evenings. There's great views from the house and it is the most quiet and restful setting. If you want an "get away from it all" type holiday in a tranquil setting or somewhere central to explore Portugal then we think that you'll be delighted to stay there'

´We stayed at the villa in Feb this year and it was lovely. The pictures do not do it justice. It was very safe for the kids and there was plenty of space for them to play. on rainy days we lite the wood burning fireplace to keep it cosy and the views of the mountains says it all. I am definitely booking it again as it is close to the IC8 and Pombal where I get the trains to Porto & Lisbon airports. Owners Eurico & son were very friendly and kind´
