We fell in love with this apartment the first time we saw it, and we are sure you will too! Renovated by a master craftsman, it is a high-quality apartment in an exclusive location, looking out onto the square "Le Pre Carre", home to many of Annecy's great restaurants and a popular spot for Annecy locals. The apartment is located on the second floor without elevator access.
While being located right in Annecy's pedestrian centre, the apartment is well-insulated in terms of sound, and the location on a quiet square gives it a haven-like quality. The apartment is only a short walk away from Annecy's old town and the lake (400m). There is ample space on the balcony for keen cyclists to store their bikes, which is often a problem with hotels and rental apartments.
Many of our guests say the photos don't do the apartment justice - that it looks much larger in reality. We'll let you be the judge!
In terms of guests, we have a mixture of families (up to four family members) and couples. The apartment is quite large enough to handle a family with a couple of teenagers, which has often been the case.

The two single beds in the bedroom can be pushed together to make a large double.
The apartment is available for weekly rentals (Saturday afternoon check-in, Saturday morning check-out) during the peak period of June to August. Outside of this period we would be willing to consider shorter stays, with a minimum stay of 4 nights. Please contact us with your request and we will do our best to accommodate it!

Annecy has a great climate - warm in summer (sometimes hot) but dry, cold in winter. Located in the bottom half of France, we generally benefit from a great deal of sunshine!

"great location, excellent apartment, great hosts"
Apartment suits families, located in the heart of annecy, 5 min walk to lake and 3 minutes to old town. apartment well appointed, outdoor balcony makes you feel every meal is in a restaurant. Owners were terrific help in finding accomm and parking. You will not be disappointed... overll cant fault.

"This was the perfect base for exploring Annecy and the region without a car"
This wonderfully spacious apartment offers everything you could want in an apartment. The appointments are simple, clean, new from Ikea and complete. The balcony is lovely and spacious and looks out over an active little couryard. The sun streams in in the morning inviting you to linger for a bit with your croissants while you plan your day. We loved that it was on the pedestrian street and had easy access to the lake and all of Annecy.
We rented road bikes and though getting them up the two flights of wonderful old stairs was a bit of a challenge after biking around the hills and lake, it was spacious enough that we could securely store them on the balcony.
The apartment was an easy walk from the train station.
The landlord is friendly and helpful and there is a wonderful book of resources for all things in the area. We loved eating at the one star Ciboulettes which you can see from the balcony!
We would stay there again for sure if we returned to Annecy.

"Lovely stay in Annecy"
Lovely few days in Annecy. Apartment in great location. We were travelling with 2 young children for work. Very easy to entertain children here - close to lake for swimming and scootering and located on pedestrian street. Close to restaurants and in the heart of old Annecy.
Owners were very accommodating with children and check out times.
We left pram at bottom of stairs - 2nd floor and no lift, but this seemed secure.

"Comfort and charm in the heart of Annecy"
My girlfriend and I couldn't have been happier with our rental experience. Since arriving in France, everyone we spoke to recommended visiting Annecy, and in fact the town was absolutely enchanting, with cobbled streets, canal lined by shops with tiled-roofs and geraniums spilling out of window boxes, a gorgeous lake framed by snowy peaks, and quick access to ski slopes and other avenues for outdoor recreation. The apartment was exactly as described and pictured: spacious, comfortable, clean as a whistle, and well-appointed with new furnishings and amenities. The location was ace, right in the heart of Annecy, central to everything we wanted to see and do, with a fabulous balcony for outdoor dining. You won't find charm or value like this at a hotel, nor will you experience the authentic flavor of day-to-day life in a French town like you will here, dashing across the street in the mornings to buy your croissants and pain-au-chocolat for breakfast, and preparing your own meals from the bounty of Annecy's open-air market. Above all, the proprietor and his wife couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, answering all of our questions and providing us with lots of recommendations and tips. We definitely hope to return, and would highly recommend this rental to friends and family.

"Beautiful Weekend Hideaway Tucked Away in Historic Annecy"
This Annecy apartment is beautiful.
Clean, well-maintained, spacious, comfortable, and best of all, located right in the heart of Annecy, with easy access to the lake, the canals, the Vieille Ville, the castle, and a multitude of restaurants and cafes. On top of being fully furnished and practically perfect in every way on the inside, there is also a spacious balcony off the kitchen that overlooks a courtyard of local restaurants - sipping coffee from the balcony is a real treat. Truly, this is an accommodation option that balances the best of both worlds - the comfort of modern amenities combined with the historic beauty of an old European town.
You will not go wrong with Le Pre Carre - this is a great choice for anyone interested in exploring Annecy on foot, and staying in comfortable lodging managed by a friendly and super helpful couple.

"Exceeded our expectations: a special apartment in a unique city"
This apartment is spacious and has a very large balcony overlooking a secluded square. It was well equipped and spotless and has tons of storage for clothes and other items making a trip with a toddler much more relaxing.
Annecy surprised us with the combination of mountain scenery, cycling and boat trips, restaurants, shops and markets and the flat is ideally located within 5 minutes of all of this.
The guide provided by the owners contains useful information on restaurants, markets etc. and they were welcoming and helpful, for example arranging a travelcot, meeting us as we arrived in Annecy and leaving a pack of CDs and DVDs for guests.
The square has some restaurants and there is a vibrant hum until late at the weekend. The bedroom is far away though and it did not disturb our toddler or us.
