Les Libellules is spectacularly located on the shore of Lake Annecy in the heart of Haute-Savoie in the lovely French village of Duingt. From the balcony you enjoy outstanding uninterrupted views of Lake Annecy, Duingt Chateau and the surrounding mountains.

A spacious, modern, fully equipped fourth floor apartment with lift, sleeping 5 people in comfort. It is electrically heated throughout and comprises a large living/dining room with east-facing balcony, open plan fitted kitchen, two bedrooms with a further west-facing balcony, bathroom and cloakroom. Wi-fi. Own parking.

The apartment boasts a large living/dining room with exceptional views over Lake Annecy. The large glass doors from here open onto an east-facing balcony which is equipped with a bistro style table and chairs- perfect for al fresco dining. From the balcony, which stretches the length of the apartment, you can enjoy panoramic views of glittering lake Annecy, Duingt Chateau and mountains framed by Dent du Cruet (1833 m) and La Tournette (2351m).

Indoors, the living area is furnished with a three-seater sofa bed and two easy chairs. For entertainment there is a TV, iPod Dock, DVD player and a selection of DVDs for all ages. Backgammon, chess, dominos and other games are also available. Wireless internet access.

Leading off from the living room is the open plan kitchen. It is equipped with a fridge/freezer, full size oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine. There is an ample supply of glasses, crockery, cutlery, pans and all other kitchen essentials.

The dining area is equipped with a round glass-top table 5 dining chairs.

Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms are well equipped with plenty of storage space in the form of both wardrobes and drawers. Both bedrooms have access to a further west-facing balcony with lovely views of mountains, the popular cycle route and lake.

Bathroom:
The bathroom is equipped with a bath with shower attachment, a separate shower, a toilet, a bidet, a wash-hand basin and a washing machine.

Cloakroom:
The cloakroom is fitted with the apartment’s second toilet and a wash-hand basin.

The apartment is electrically heated throughout.

Further details outdoors:
There is a shared lakeside lawn area for sunbathing with direct access to the lake.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

The Rhone-Alpes is the home of France's most famous lakes, Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy. The area boasts many national and regional parks as well as nature reserves. The variety of landscapes and the pure mountain air attract different types of visitors. The area offers skiing throughout the winter while in summer is a popular destination for swimmers and hikers with well marked trails. The Annecy / Duingt area

Lake Annecy is synonymous with breathtaking scenery, the blue of the lake surrounded by mountains whose colours change with the seasons and the light. Hiking, cycling, roller skating, paragliding and golf can be enjoyed all year round.

The lake is nestled in the foothills of the Jura mountains, at an altitude of 447m. It is considered the cleanest lake in Europe and, with a surface area of 27km² , The lake is always popular in the summer months when the water temperature is perfect for swimming at 20-24 degrees.

Summer activities:

Les Libellules is located on the western shore of Lake Annecy in Duingt village, an unspoilt area with an enormous range of activities waiting to be enjoyed.

Within walking distance of the apartment there is natural rock climbing, pedalo hire, boat hire, the water bus stop to Annecy and several ports around the lake. The long (25 mile) cycle, rollerblading, skating and hiking trail passes just meters from the apartment and the three adults bikes are supplied for you to borrow. To enjoy the swimming, fishing, water skiing and other activities that the lake offers, you only have to take the lift down from the apartment.

Activities nearby:

White water rafting, mountain biking, para-gliding, hand-gliding, golf, swimming pool, adventure course with treetop walkways, glacier skiing, horse riding and summer sledging to name but a few.


Fishing:

Thanks to the quality of its ecosystem, many types of fish live in the lake:
char, lake trout, whitefish, powan, perch, carp, roach, chub and more.

Les Libellues is ideally located for those who like skiing but don’t want to stay in a ski resort.

For downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snow boarding, ice skating, tobogganing and other winter activities the apartment is a short drive to:
