Stunning location in the heart of the Dachstein West Ski Region and the Lammer Valley. Based just a 2 minute drive away from the ski lifts and with direct access to alpine walking trails.
This comfortable apartment is light and spacious and benefits from its own large private balcony. It has uninterrupted mountain views and overlooks the scenic village of Annaberg where you can walk alongside the Lammer River. It's ideal for families and medium sized groups, sleeping between 2 to 8 people. There are two large guest bedrooms, an open living area with new luxury kitchen. A new heating system which has also just been installed for the coming winter season. There are new radiators throughout the apartment and a modern wood stove in the living area.
The apartment provides an excellent base for a wide range of winter and summer activities and it's central location is ideal for exploring many of Austria's most renowned attractions & cultural destinations including Salzburg City, Halstatt & Gosau Lakes, Krippenstein & Dachstein Glacier Sites, Werfen Ice Caves and the Gross Glockner Alpine Pass.

The Austrian Alps / Salzburgerland / Salzburgerland region
The Dachstein West Ski Region is considered to be one of the most family friendly resorts in Austria. It's a challenging ski area with plenty of opportunities for young and old, beginners and advanced. There are a wide variety of slopes, some good off piste and two boarder parks. There are 46 ski lifts, including modern gondolas, 147 km of groomed slopes as well as 130 km of cross-country ski trails.
The region not only offers some superb skiing but also offers great value for money. When you buy a ski pass for 1½ days or more you can also use it to ski in 7 other regions, all reachable in a short distance, and including the Krippenstein Freesports Arena.
In Summer the Lammertal offers a walking, hiking and biking paradise perfect for nature lovers who cannot fail to appreciate the diversity of Austria’s scenery. You’ll have no option but to take in the pure mountain air, the pristine environment and spectacular Alpine views with their lush meadows and crystal clear lakes. The array of alpine flowers together with Austria’s wildlife, and the traditional mountain Alms (alpine huts where you can take refreshments) make for an irresistible and special nature experience.
Between the Tennengebirge Mountains and the Dachstein massif ambitious hikers and mountaineers can find over 300 marked trails and climbing routes. For mountain bikers there are a choice of 20 different trails totalling 720km. There are also more leisurely trails for families and children to explore and you could visit some of the beautiful lakes in the area, from the small quiet lakes in the countryside to some of the larger lakes such as Hallstatesee, Traunsee and St Wolfgang. The attractions are endless and there is without a doubt something for everyone.
Annaberg / Lammertal area
The scenic village of Annaberg is just a two minute drive away , nestled at the foot of the breathtaking Bischofsmute Mountain. It offers many local amenities including it’s own tourist information office, bank, post-office, grocery stores, butchers, bakers,and some nice traditional cafes & restaurants. There is also a garage and a regular bus service to surrounding towns & a free ski bus in the winter season.
The village is in a perfect central location from where you can easily access many of Austria's popular tourist attractions. The Old Town (Altstadt) of Salzburg and some of Austria's most beautiful lakes are within less than an hour away by car.

How to get there
Fly to Salzburg - Annaberg is less than a one hour drive from the airport. Regular cheap flights available from Ryanair.com, Flybe.com and Easyjet.co.uk Car hire available from www.holidayautos.co.uk.
If Travelling by Car from Salzburg Follow the A10 south towards Graz/Villach. After passing both the Hallein and Kuchl junctions, take the next exit for Golling. Head along this road towards Scheffau and Abtenau. Pass through Scheffau up the hill until you reach Abtenau. Pass through Abtenau towards Annaberg/St Martin. Once through the village of Abtenau the road will bear to the left but at this point there is a road on the right sign posted to Annaberg/St Martin. Take this turning which has a very sharp bend on the right. This road will lead to Annaberg. Immediately prior to the entry sign for Annaberg turn right over a wooden bridge and turn right again following the road uphill. Travel along this road for 1.5km keeping to the right and you will find the property.
Rail / Bus Route From the airport take the bus for a short trip to the Main train station in Salzburg. Take a train to Golling. From here you can take a further bus to Abtenau and then Annaberg or take a taxi.
If Travelling by Taxi From the airport a taxi from Annaberg can be arranged. The cost is approximately €100 which is about £60 depending on exchange rates.
